I will say though, you do like to jump early when you get sent into tumble. That's when you get launched and roll around in the air
If you are unsure about what to do, you can nair and then fast fall to mix up recoveries, or get an arrow ready to cover people trying to edge guard you as well
Down air is a good move to land with but use it sparingly. Use it when you know someone is gonna try and punish a landing or if you can read their missed techs, moves, etc
Also you should do down throw up air instead of down throw up b
It's a more consistent combo

Another habit I am catching is that after you double jump, you like to air dodge. Try not to do that a lot because it puts you into hella endlag and I'm just gonna run up and punish you
At low percents when you grab, down throw is the best option. Otherwise when you have me at a higher percent, it is better to send me offstage with a forward throw or a back throw
I see that your movement is a big sluggish. Try going back to the main menu and changing your stick sensitivity from normal to high. It'll be at the joycon logo in the smash section, and do it after the session
For me, the way I like to play yink is I always love to move. If I am stopping it's to get a bomb, but otherwise I am everywhere on the map
For recoveries, when you feel like you are very far away from your opponent(and they don't have a projectile), you can pull out a bomb and then immediately directional air dodge. It stalls you in the air enough to where it will explode and you can up b again
One more and I will also send a video and if you have any questions I can answer them
I see that you like to go for boomerang, then arrow, and then forward air regardless of anything hits

If you are every in doubt, just sit in a corner and send out projectiles
That's something you should do more. Just send out hitboxes when you can
Boomerang can cover a wild range of approaches, such as in the air, behind you, or even set you up for a big combo
Arrow is good at peppering you opponent while also being a good combo tool

Bomb is very good for set play as well as being one of your main recovery options
I will say that your movement is very clunky rn, so you should definitely get back into grinding

Yeah, I just started classes again so it’s a bit of a struggle
- Jump less when you get sent out. And when you do jump, don't air dodge immediately. Instead, throw out a nair when landing/fast falling to have an active hitbox out and maybe use arrow to punish people going too fair out for an edge guard.
- Try and play a bit farther away from your opponent. For now, it's best to use a playstyle that won't let you get hit by anything they send, so staying back sometimes is the play.
- Don't be afraid of certain options. I saw you drop shield a bunch because you thought I was gonna go for something but it never came out, or even when I didn't know, you miss an opportunity to punish me. So work on general confidence in this game.

These should help you get a grasp of the basics - Utilize your projectiles a lot more as well as tilt attacks. They aren't even associate so something is wrong
