Some earlier builds had this name actually 😅 I settled on this name since it has "Cobblemon" in the name for google searching.

I was thinking about doing this! The pottery sherds would make for a great crafting ingredient to craft yamask. It would take some serious tweaking to make it compatible with TFC's world generation though, so if I do add this it would be in a future update.

Years ago I tried making a pixelmon pack that works with TFC. One advantage to using Cobblemon is it is far more configurable and user friendly from the modders perspective.

are pokemon item drops modified at all? i was considering doing a "no animals only pokemon" type thing but if the drops arent modified at all it could make things a tad difficult

Pokemon drops are modified, yes. Items like raw hides and meat are much easier to come by with this mod. The only thing you would be missing is dairy since miltank doesn't have a milking mechanic yet. I will implement a way to do a Pokemon only playthrough in a future update.

No way - I just started playing a TFC pack, it's the first time I play TFC in, I wanna say about 10 years? I absolutely fell in love with it, and I really enjoy making modpacks and immediately thought, "What if TFC + Cobblemon? Naaah that'd require a whole custom spawning system, too silly of an idea, way beyond me" and now I find out, not only it's been made but it's been made 100x better and more in depth than I ever imagined it

I will be making a modpack with this soon enough, thank so so so so so so so much for making this

I appreciate this so much! Despite being less popular, this project took much more work. I also personally love TFC so I was highly motivated to make this a reality. I have many more plans for this mod so stay tuned for that!

My mod makes it less grindy imo. The Pokemon drops makes food and ores a bit easier to come by. Adding a Cobblemon riding mod is amazing. Just make sure to also get the fight or flight mod to balance it out 😉

With this addon, the crops from Cobblemon, are they affected by seasons, and soil nutrients?

Not yet! It requires remaking the crops so I haven't gotten to it yet. For now, crops grow like vanilla

I'm getting a client crash when I try to click on a different box in the Cobblemon PC, and I also have a full team, and I caught a Scyther, and it said my pc was full as well.

also, I just tried putting a dusclops in the PC, and it disappeared into it, and now I don't see it inside.

so yeah, when I click the buttons for box 1 to switch, it makes the sounds but doesn't do anything, the right button makes sound, but when I click the left button it crashes the client

Are there weather based spawns in this? Finally working on this modpack I mentioned a while ago, trying to figure out if we need to worry about compatibility with Simple Clouds (So far works fine with TFC but I don't know if it would cause issues with this specifically)

Some Pokemon can only spawn if blocks like snow and ice are present. Goomy or elekid line might have weather spawns but I don't remember. You'll have to check the source code to fact-check me on this.

This is a strange error. It's making me wonder if there is something off about your world/server since it's encountering issues with your client data. Do you know if this error is anywhere on Cobblemon's git issues page or bug reporting channels?

The Field guide is part of TFC and since you were adding TFC specific features I thought it would be neat to add documentation directly into the TFC patchouli guide book.

Oh now I get you thanks for clarifying that for me.
I'm definitely open to it, especially considering how niche some of my mod's features are. If I do add it it will most likely be when this mod is more fleshed out though. That way I don't have to redo as many entries if I change my mind about some game mechanics.

Fair enough, only reason I suggested it is because I saw you posted a video tutorial and thought it would be a lot more user friendly to just add it directly to the field guide.
