I ❤ TFC (I Heart TFC) (1.20.1, 1.21.1)

A tiny clientside addon that reworks the TFC HUD to be pictographic, using hearts for health, food icons for hunger, and droplets for thirst. Your nutrition is reflected by the food icons, and by default, partial hearts will be shown to give you a precise idea of your total health, but this can be turned off for a more vanilla look.

if it's meant to be a temperature bar, which i've heard gossip that it is, it might be better to change the gradient to be less like a generic rainbow xp bar and more like a stereotypical red to blue-graded thermometer

wouldnt it better design wise to have the "max" hearts be 10 and just divide the max health every time to fit inside the 10 max hearts?

so i guess each heart = 100 HP atm so if u are full hp and go past 1000 it scales down.. would it be bad to have like (maxcurrentHP)/10(max possible hearts) to return the value of each heart? so with 110 hp eaxh heart would be 110 and avoid them overlapping down or up?

a little detail is the freezing point indicator

blue for water on the positive side, white for snow/ice on the negative side

and the markings are at 10 degree intervals

so each pixel is half a degree Celcius

Red looks like something negative, like you should avoid it - I can see why gold wouldn't work though, with texture like the carrot and bread not having enough contrast with it
Maybe the outline could depend on the food icon,
Ex: meat sticks are gold, carrots, cheese and bread are blue, watermelon are gold

Btw is there a simbol for no nutrition, like if the player eats a lot of hard tack they would get a bunch of grey icon and a single bread
Or is it purely based on the nutrition % where the default meat icon represents meat ?

the outline can't depend on the food icon because it would make it look like it's displaying different information for each color

no nutrition defaults to displaying the vanilla haunches

the way it picks which icons to display is that it adds up the total nutrition and divides each food group out of that total

so it always shows them as a percentage of your total nutrition

so if you have like 1 sliver of protein and 1 sliver of vegetables you'll still get 5 haunches and 5 carrots

I would like to change some of the textures of this mod with a texture pack. Normally I would go to a mod's github page and find all of this information there, but I cannot find one for your mod. If you could please send the mod's textures and where they should be located inside a texture pack that would be great.

Jars are just zip files in a funny hat

The bundled resource pack and datapack is flat at the root, IE unzip it and look in assets, that's the bundled resources, such as textures

This also goes for vanilla with some specific exceptions like sounds and some particular textures
