How do I activate or place the compatibility?
It's all in the readme.txt
You need to put the config files I provided into your config folder, then you have to put my datapack folder "Animal Drops" into the datapack file of the world you want to use. If it's not working right away try "/incontrol reload"
Sorry friend, because maybe it's me who is doing the idiot but, I did what you indicated, but they do not appear and when I click "incontrol reload" it tells me that the command does not exist

what are the animals that spawn in tfc?
You have to have cheats enabled to run that command. Open to LAN and allow cheats in your world.
Currently I've got: Whales, Octopus, Crabs, Nautilus, Sharks, Barracuda, Jellyfish and Eels to the oceans. Then there are Squirrels, Songbirds, Roadrunners, Pelicans a couple other birds!
New update:
-TFC Boar have been replaced with Better animals plus boar(Their aggression is very low compared to the original mod versions)
-Many new birds have been introduced!
-Removed small raw hides from squirrel drops(It was a bit OP)
-Octopus now drop 2-8 raw calamari.
-Aquatic based birds now drop duck meat and terrestrial birds drop chicken meat.
-Lots of spawning tweaks, it's still not perfect but it's getting better!

P.S. If anyone is willing to help, I'd love to get the boars to drop TFC pork and I'd love to be able to rename one of the bird meats from TFC to "Poultry" and apply it to all the birds which drop meat!

-TFC Moose have been replaced by Better Animals Plus moose! Be careful they fight back!
-Small tweaks to some of the bird spawns, aquatic based birds should only spawn near water now!
-Owls now only spawn at night!

That may take more work than I'm willing to put into this to accomplish lol Giving them familiarity and stuff would be pretty difficult I assume.
But, I'll look into it and see how feasible it is.

I've changed the mods I'm using now it only requires:
TFC
Better Animals Plus
Exotic Birds
Entity Zoning Supervisor
The new version now has every animal and bird that I deemed to "fit" in the TFC theme from the two mods. Everything in the pack is relatively easy to edit/remove using the EZ Sup config files!

Would you be able to give Alex's mobs the same treatment? That would definitely spice up the Overworld for sure.
What animals from Alex's mobs are you interested?
Real life counterparts like elephants, lions, etc.
The fictional mobs could be excluded imo.
There should be plenty real life mobs in Alex's mobs you can add in to interact with.
Does adding the related files and this datapack result in there being more (in number) animals wandering about, or just a greater variety?
A greater variety, the spawns from this pack are all weighted against other spawns. Some have higher group spawn amounts though like birds and crabs.

Just a question, if I want a mob like zombies or skeletons to continue to spawn as they do in unmodified TFC, what should I change in config ? Thanks !

boar drop only head.
why coyote drop nothing, when in tfc dogs and wolfs has bones and small raw hide.
moose only head
nautilus - nothing, i checked without firmalife, but shellfish he also didnt drop
octopus - nothing
piranha - nothing, i see that no loot in code,but irl it edible
reindeer - only head
squirrel - it really looks like rabbit. but yeah makes squirrel drop rabbit hide or raw rabbit its a bit crazy, maybe small raw hide?

All the birds loot from exotic birds works correctly. Only one question, that hummingbird drops something is this realistic?

When using EZSup you set a "weight" to the spawns. When minecraft spawns animals it compares the weights of all mobs. It doesn't stop TFC mobs from spawning. In my pack I set all the weights to lower values so that it wouldn't affect TFC spawns that much.
Also, I believe you are missing a file for the animal drops. They are all defined using the datapack.
oh, and this weight is set by mincraft? can i increase or decrease this weight? I see, that weight setting in spawn.json but what is EZSup?
Yes, I didn't understand the abbreviation. It's ok.
There can't be any mistakes, moreover some drops are changed correctly (how it coded in your scripts), and some are not, it can't be that i missing a file, all the drops scripts in the same folder
And I checked 2 times with the clear installation of your datapack
