An impulse buy led to me having that little Waveshare glass cube holo display lying around, which frankly I thought would be a lot larger.

I finally found a use for it, turning it into a desk clock that shows the status of my cats and cat flaps, which, believe it or not, is one of the most critical bits of information in my house. Vet bills can run into money.

The little display is the only one by waveshare so far that hasn't let me down.

If you're interested in the yaml, drop me a line. It's really not that spectacular.

Can you test something for me? If you shine a bright light through the display will the negative cast a shadow on the wall/ceiling. Maybe set a shape to black & a most transparent colour white?

Oh on second thought this looks like a peppers ghost display. I thought it was an LCD panel embedded in the top. So that probably won’t work.

There really isn't much to it, here, have a look. It wouldn't be much use to anyone else either, because it's higly specific to my system. I guess it might serve as a learning expereince.

Hmmm... Very interesting. I actually NEED a third point, because you could either be in Greenland or on the Azores so far. I wonder if they hold any conventions in Brasilia?

Ah, that makes more sense. Since I don't think you're a trapper near the great northern lakes, I'm going to venture a guess and say you're either in Cancun or somewhere west of Havanna.
