You should get rid of the external_components and use current release. There are a couple of breaking changes but the branch you're using doesn't even exist any more. The layout key changed a little.

@faint juniper when you have a min can you look at https://discord.com/channels/429907082951524364/1278760420697702524 and tell me what I'm doing wrong? I copied you code and pasted it and these are the errors I get. I'm sure its something stupid I'm just over looking maybe something I need to do prior like themes, etc. before compiling it.
