It is perfectly fine to be critical about things and leave negative feedback complaining about things. Just remember to keep it respectful and constructive. Anything that strays into personal attacks or insulting our devs is not cool. Complaining about a lack of new cars or things that haven't been fixed yet is totally fine.

why should i have paid 7000 inr in 2021 and get this much lack off new content, new cars such as Tesla's, RR's, Ordinary cars like Fiesta, Prius and more Hyundai vehicles

Mercedes SLR Mclaren 2005 is something I would definitely be a lot excited for

Worst part about the update is that we were TOLD BY DONUT about the new cars coming to FH5 and playground just did not deliver, very sad issue...

More tuning options for the cars would be cool, like the option to downgrade higher class cars would be fun too

We need something new, because what you guys are doing with almost every update is recycling content, you are adding cars that we already experienced in older Forza games. I would much more appreciate something new, or something returning, but unique. For example a car, which was featured only in 1 Forza title

Happy about the TCR Lynk, Mini Traveller and the RB Kits, especially for the Mk2 Golf.

I would also highly appreciate more variety in terms of customization. I think that the basic forza aero that every car has is very basic and dry.

I believe the context provided by the stream implies the Donut Car Pack DLC mentioned earlier has been delayed a bit due to expansion 2's development

It is not basic and dry, it is old as well the Forza aero has been around since 2013!!

I watched a good chunck of the stream, here's my boring and honest review:

-Update is overhyped as usual but this time, community is starting to see through it

• 3 out of the 4 "new" cars are boring old wagons that we are already familiar with from fh4, and the final one is a version of the Lynk, an already available car from the game. Not very exciting to say the least...
  -New story seems interesting, but for one month worth of content it won't do it justice, we will all complete it in its entirety in 20 minutes
• RB kits are.. ok? 21 kits for 20 cars if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, I like that but what do they have to do with Donut Media, the thing that the update is involved around? Sad to know the most exciting new feature has nothing to do with the main theme.. and its also just some body kits
• Where are donut media cars? That's what would get people excited, not a story..

Like the fact that they say more donut stuff will be on the way soon, then suddenly bring up the expansion 2 development is NOT a coincidence

Here is a small list of cars that i would like to see in the next forza updates: Mercedes SLR Mclaren, Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series, Mclaren MP4-12C, Aston Martin V12 Zagato (Villa d'Este) and Audi R8 GT 2011

Unpopular opinion but, electric cars of any kind for me. I love all cars and anything added is good but some more electric or hybrid representation woild be nice

Hello, In my opinion this update left something to be desired. We only had a few new cars and bodykits. For an update to be good in my opinion, the developers should add new cars that are not in any forza franchise. It would also be nice to have an update in online mode which, honestly, is pretty bad. An update on the eliminator would be great too as a lot of people like the eliminator. In general this update from 0 to 10 I would give 7.

Since you guys recycle content from older forza games, you can simply recycle better content, by adding cars from FH1 or FH2 that arent in the current forza game, because lets be honest, almost nobody cares about the cars added in this update

I would also love to see more bumpers and wings on different cars, not just the standard Forza aero

More customization options too, like different headlight options, taillights, sidemirrors, maybe let us upgrade fenders too

It’s pretty much the best racing game ever in my opinion, but it’s not as great as it could be

3 recycled and one is just a version of an already existing car
If you recycle cars from old games, at least recycle imteresting ones

✅ Added content? 7/10
Story is alright but it's just gonna be NPCs talking to you for the whole time, ruining the fun as usual
But the body kits are cool I suppose
Still, that's it? 28 days and all we get is a story and a few body kits?

✅ Fixes? 4/10
They adressed the rivals times issue and the deletion of cheated scores, but not how many they plan to, how long the process is and when the hell are we finally getting an anti cheat. But I had low expectations on that anyway..
Still, that's it? The game continues to suffer from a multitude of bugs and glitches... some even game-breaking.

Overall, the average I would give the Donut Media update is a 4/10
Very dissapointing but then again my expectations were super low to begin with

The problem is that to have that level in f customization something else would have to be sacrificed, and that’s most likely car amount

and i know its not easy, you have to consider licenses, 3d scans and so on, so i can imagine, but for example there are customizations from older forza games that didnt make it for FH5, which can be brought back for sure

I mean, if we were, licensing wouldn't be a thing we'd have to worry about because we'd be having the SVX in a game

The other problem I see (and this is not indicative of how Playground Games works, because I don't know what happens after feedback is recieved) is the fact that everybody (community wise) wants to pull in one direction

Hmm, everyone would try to grab the dollar bill for themselves, i myself would do so aswell, so what you mean is everyone here wants the game to be more to their liking, which the developers can’t really make happen because by making one person happy, they’d also be making another dissapointed? Did I understand correctly or did I completely miss the mark

i mean, judging by what torben did, he came with a plate of donuts, talking about series 17, which is at the start of February, and they said its gonna be a big update. I reckon that the 2nd expansion could be something related to donut media in LA

but thats just an assumption based on the things we have been told and know about the expansions and future updates

No clue what Donut Media is or why we should care. Looking them up, I still don't know what a YouTube channel about random car stuff has to do with FH. The first videos I see are "Guess the 350Z Owner," "We Bought Dumb Car Company Merch," "$30 vs $3000 RC Car," and "Real Mechanic Reacts to Fast & Furious." I'm a car guy and couldn't care less.

Where is the connection to Forza Horizon? I keep seeing that there was Donut content of some kind in FH4 (why though?), but even with hundreds of hours of playtime, I don't remember it.

Seeing this Donut thing ripped apart by YouTubers. I guess they don't understand either. There's talk about how the new cars are so boring that we forgot they were in FH4 (and being passed off as new). As for the body kits - "Not 1 of those rocket bunny kits are new" - AR12Gaming. So everything is recycled (like revisiting Hot Wheels) and it's also brought up that there's no Donut Media cars? If these YouTubers are special to the development team, why aren't there any cars representing them? I'm assuming we'll have a challenge to drive through 10 donuts though because we all know that's incredibly exciting.

Will the next expansion also have recycled components? Possibly having to do with Donut Media like seemingly everyone is talking about?

Disappointing. But I'll do this series for the SF90 since I missed that out, to be honest I was expecting some HiLo cars but not old wagons that has nothing to do with the theme of the update.

I like your POV, its honest and critical, and we need more of this

At this point it's really just recycling content over and over, thats exactly the opposite thing which made forza horizon special, thats why older forza horizon games are much better than today's games. FH4 and FH5 were just recycled content for the most part. If you are reading this, PG, Microsoft Studios, Turn 10 and Xbox, go back to your roots and think what made forza horizon a special game in the first place. Try out new things, experiment, engage with the community about updates, ask them what they want, diversify.

Well the people aren't mad, they are dissapointed with the update, because apart from the new link car and the donut media story, there is nothing new. Everything else is recycled from older forza titles. At this point the question is, are they really trying? Because to me, the answer is quite obvious

Unfortunantely, with no real competition, T10 and PGG are setting that bar really low right now

You are going to benefit the most to listening to what the people want. For example you could, suggest possible updates for the future and create a poll with them, and let the community decide what to have as an update

Let's keep it respectful folks. It's good to give feedback, but if you disagree with someone else's point of view you don't need to try and change their minds.

As far as to being able to listen to feedback it is true that we often run into a lot of hurdles in development that prevent us from being able to everything as fast as players would like or at all in some cases. Either way, we're glad you care about and enjoy Forza enough to be critical and honest with us. ❤️

The game is great, don't get me wrong, i enjoy playing it, its just that i see it has an unbelievable potential to be an even better game than it is now, and im frustrated that it isnt happening. I know it takes you guys ages to get the things we want done

My final comment about the series 14 update is that it is very dissapointing

One suggestion i have for you guys that you can add easily is different exhaust variations. That's a small change with a significant impact

Yeah, I've also heard suggestions about things like mirrors, headlights, and the like.

Small things like these make a significant impact on the car and how much the player enjoys it.

Also aero, wings, fenders, front splitters, diffusers, bumpers. And i gotta be honest here, the standard forza aero is pretty bad and not good looking at all. It doesnt fit any car whatsoever

(new guy shield here) I'd have to look into how much of the aftermarket customization we're limited on due to licensing agreements. I do know there are a lot of various restrictions, so some of that might be limited by that.

So adding the maserati gran turismo s, gt350r, camaro, and AMG C 63 S FE kits probably isnt that far of a stretch

And the 2015/16 civic fe bodykit is already on the wuling and a few other cars

But the thing i dont get is that some cars still have the old splitter, yet it cant be applied universally

If any car could get any piece of returning aero, my pick would be the forza rear bumper for.... i think it was the r32 golf but i may be mistaken

It was replaced by the... somewhat cool hot hatch aero we have today, and actually puts a good explanation as to anomalies like the 09 focus and vw corrado

I know licencing can be a b**** sometimes when it comes to parts and custumization, but I really feel like Fh5 should have the same level of custumizability as NFS Heat.

Which isn't asking for too much considering Heat is 2 years older and has about 5 times fewer cars

regarding RB in the next update was hoping for like a couple additional kits to complement the ones we already had in FH4.

Plus even refreshing the line up as RB from what I can see don't sells for example the S13 and 240SX (RPS13) V1 kits to replace them with the currently available V3 kit's

but adding additional kits which we hopefully can see later on down the road for the R33, AE86, E30, A90 and C8 for example.

the latter two I thought would been on the cards considering they feature as the players starter cars in the early part of the game

as reason not too found of the V1 rocket bunny on the 240 it seems pretty dated at the front plus the V3 stands out more.
the re-using of the stock muffler on it is a bit.. Eh? but would those three I would love to see updated

This update was a scam to the people like me who saved up since the announcement of FH5, it is like PG is flipping us off. I do not feel happy with my purchase 😞

You can do better. Next update I am hoping for new content!!

If you guys at T10 really care about feedback, please act upon that. We care about the game and want it to be great but you guys are holding it back from reaching it's potential and almost nobody is happy about it.
