The cooler the room the better, is ideal for any electronics.
Pc or Laptop.

It won't make a massive difference.
Laptops are such a small and thin chassis, with small fans.
The smaller the fan, the faster it needs to spin to cool down hot parts.
The faster a fan spins the louder it gets.

Hello, i bought the game on Xbox PC and have a PlayStation controller, and of course Xbox have restricted it so you cant use the ps5 controller on PC.

I tried to do a work around and launch the game trough steam but it didn't work either.
I have checked out DS4Windows as a work around but when i scanned the download file with VirusTotal it detected trojan virus.

ah, it kiiinda sounds like your front tires arent quite getting the right amount of bite.
Think of throttle as your drift-radius control. More throttle usually widens the line and can increase angle. Less throttle or light braking usually tightens the line and helps the car rotate around the corner instead of skating outward.

on entry try stomping the e-brake and slide for a second going into the turn, get comfortable with how the back end will react when you begin turn entry. establish angle there, and see how it wants to follow through when you release the e-brake and enter the turn.

it's not great drifting advice but it's how i get a feel for what it wants to do.

yeah id go for the track one, the r35, myself. If you dont want to mess with upgrades, id go for whichever has higher handling stats.
iirc, theyre both awd so there shouldnt be too much of a difference when thier PI is that close.

but then being awd kinda gives it a different feel than the exige's rwd

I always tuned any car I plan to drift with. Gives it good horse power, so I definitely recommend finding a good tuning setup. While you are at it, don’t choose an option that may be too fast if the handling is bad.

As per @dusk path -- here is a guide I've authored to help fix the FFB/Device 1 conflict when utilizing third party USB devices (i.e. simagic DS8x):

My setup:

• Moza R21 (current firmware/sw - horizon base compatbility off)
• Moza HBP (via RJ11)
• Simagic DS8X (my problem child)
• Fanatec CSV3

Issue:
Forza keeps assigning Device 1 to the wrong controller (usually a shifter or pedals), which causes FFB to cease, spike, stutter, and usb traffic so severe it lags the CPU/GPU each time you provide an input.

After a lot of trial and error, this setup fully fixes it. Please share it around — a lot of sim drifters are stuck because of this as this is not a Moza problem but rather the way Forza is handling the FFB signals.

What you need:

• VJoy
• Joystick Gremlin
• HidHide

Before You Start:

Only plug in the problem device (shifter or pedals). This is necessary to avoid confusing the software we're going to use.
Procedure:

1. Install and open VJoy
   Enable → Add Device
   Check only X, Y, Z
   Uncheck all feedback
   Reboot your PC

2. Open joy.cpl
   You should see VJoy and your problem device.

3. Open Joystick Gremlin
   Move the shifter or pedals to confirm they sending data.

4. Map inputs
   Create a workflow mapping each shifter/pedal input to the matching VJoy button. Make a new one for each button, not all in pane to the right.
   Save and toggle it ON - VERYYYY IMPORTANT!!

5. Open HidHide
   You’ll see VJoy and your problem device.
   Hide only the problem device. Keep HidHide open.

6. Unplug and reconnect the device
   Open joy.cpl again.

You should now see only VJoy in joystick gremlin as well as in usb game controllers (joy.cpl) Choose the Vjoy device and calibrate.

If VJoy lights up when you shift or press pedals, it’s working.

Finally:

Once you have the problem device sorted you can reconnect everything else. No conflicts will occur because you did not modify anything but the problem child.

If all is good, your wheel will work normally even if it shows up as Device 2 or 3, since it’s the only device with FFB enabled.

Notes:

Wheel buttons (D‑pad, A/B/X/Y) still need to be mapped through vjoy or Gremlin if you want them. Moza eventually fixed this when providing the wheeltunablespec/gameinput files for the .ZIPs in FH5/Media so I'm going to hold off and just use a controller for now.

Also, I’m using an unpowered USB hub with no issues.

When you get down to the last 100-ish cars you can make a list in a notepad doc of what those remaining vehicles are and then create a race blueprint in event lab with a custom car theme containing upto 49 cars you're missing + 1 you own. Use the validate option to get your pictures and don't save your event so you don't spam Event Lab with junk.

That’s auto brake that does that if you turn ABS on, you will be able to just smash the brakes with no issue

The brake settings are as follows auto, ABS on and ABS off
