So i must have miscommunicated.. this is a player comp through the Just Trees Lights Out playlist. Not a map making comp. Obviously the Just Trees franchise has already perfected Just Tree map making technology..

@pine basalt So we just played your playlist now for about one hour. Some feedback:

  1. What I seriously did not like was that there were treeless maps. Its not that the maps were bad or anything but if you want to experience nature, you dont want to end up in some claustrophobic Yes-Cube, right?

  2. In some maps there was only team chat. Thats maybe cool for real big lobbies but we were just around 10 players. So open chat would have been appreciated.

  3. I am not sure if its on purpose but the kind of the hill points did not work on any maps. I dont really remember the exact name of the map but it was called something with "just trees" followed by a number.

  4. I am aware that the map is called Lights out and I really loved that peaceful mood of a freezing full moon night. But in regards or more diversity, I also would have enjoyed a super dark night or some sunset feelings...

But all in all I really enjoyed the medidative quality of your franchise. So keep up with the good work!

Nice, yeah so i need to master the rule set. Been a long time coming. Metro 4231.9 is a forshadowing of a future with no trees.. yes is a map where if you go to the middle of the green room you end up in treetopia.. in huge fort its just a huge fort. "The One" is the largest tree in pop 1 history. Was scaled in beta before the tree scale was limited to current size.

Step one: gonna make all rooms open mic.
Step 2: check capture points.
Step 3: add capture the flags.
Step 4: make all rooms 8 mins and balance rules similarly.

I know you know the tales and the trials. . So lets open game on this.. best tree maps in VR history. They must be mastered. So I will provide credits in game description if we sandbox out way not only through and over.. but beyond the limit of whats never been possible.

Im gonna game tonight . And i need an adcanced editor.. I need a rules editor.. and i need a CTO.. chief tree officer

Im going through making sure the events are reset to allow capture points work, and making all their rules and aetting similar. A question i have is, currently its like set to king of the hill but i also want capture the flags available as well. Can we do both?

Just trees playlist is 15 JT maps and 4 context maps for the lore. End result is a set of all 15 reasonable variations possible for just trees maps to hold any respect from the locals. I got through like 1-4. Still a lot of settings adjustments left

You want in the same map that people can score by capturing the flag AND by occupying the capture points? Or you mean some maps like this some like that? But yeah, basically everything is possible.

The maps are rectangle, teams spawn on each side.. the middle has a capture point. Also in the same map, you can adcance past the capture point, collect a flag, and continue foreward to the enemies side and deposit the flag on the other teams big tree for maybe like 5 points.. would be very hard to do to get all the way across.. so more just to add another element to get people working and have objective. So yeah capture points and capture the flags. Sounds like i should start with. capture the flag rule set and add capture points events.

Cuz i didnt see flags in the build section of the menu. Does it have to be capture the flag for flags to show up in interactives?

When you load other rules, it always overwrite the preexisting rules. But if the new rules are set up correctly, then those basic rules will either not be needed or are included in the new rules. Because otherwise it also would not work correctly in the map where you import them from.

Maybe i just need to set up a rule set I can save and load each time. "Rules of the trees"
