@languid glen did anyone from BigBox answer you about this? Is this a feature or a bug? I assume it's a bug, and I hope so, because people keep sneaking up behind me, & I have no way of defending myself at that point. That's been the most frustrating part other than the lag.

i noticed i could hear my own footsteps, but they were very very quiet

But if its a bug.. why not communicate or at minimum aknowledge it.. even if you decide not to fix it instantly a good community manager usualy communicate about it. Not being silent or just act like there is no problem.

#

same for so many missing things on the changelogs... why? like there is no direction or nobody having the overview of what is changed.. just random people changing code and then press on release button and then look what the consequences are..

Yeah, one thing I have learned in the past 2 years is that VR Code development is much much more complicated than flat screen code development. There is apparently a lot more variables to work out. I think the simple solution to their problem is they need to stipend or contract 2 or 3 daily players to update them regularly about bugs we encounter or possible improvements. I don't think they have an employee that plays the game every day for hours to run into the issues that we encounter daily. RadFox & a few others are daily for 4-5. I do 3-4hrs daily. RadFox treats playing like an actual job to pay her bills. She'd take anything to supplement her current income. I think anyone of the daily players would take even $800 per month for 3-4hrs. I would, & I already make over 6 figures with my regular job.

Quiet footsteps while walking was intentional, but we've seen the feedback that they're too quiet and we'll make adjustments for the next release.
