new mode could bring a lot of dedicated players to the game but most do not know this exists and there are usually only a few custom rooms playing it- adding this mode to the deathmatch menu could increase visibility and for a lot of players having an objective is more fun than regular TDM

I think this is a great idea. While they are at please separate the Deathmatch playlist from the Discovery. Currently it is all mixed together to the point there is no need for separate lists.

Prior to the most recent update the Deathmatch playlist was tight and balanced. Also had zero high damage maps.
Now it's a mess and there are tonnes of high damage maps?

Fully agreed. I'm fairly pissed about it since TDM has been my main since before Sandbox existed.
Had bad luck too because I bought a Q3 and a bunch of skins around Christmas time, just for Deathmatch to get replaced with the Christmas playlist (came to enjoy some of the maps).
Then returned to POP and dropped a bunch of $ on BG once more in support except now Deathmatch is diluted entirely?
I'm pissed because I've been a pretty big/vocal supporter of Deathmatch and also put my money where my mouth is by buying skins in support $.
Both for myself and my two kids, skin purchases X3.
Now it's just been nuked?
And there's nowhere to play the style of TDM that the mode consisted of before?
