I currenty play Mad Paradox but due to my low ERP, I'm limited when it comes to being accepted into parties. So in the process, I began thinking about playing support with three options since I played them during past events which include Nyx Pieta, Celestia, and Dius Aer. Either A. I grind ERP on my main to a high enough level to be accepted into parties, B. I invest in one of the three support classes that already have event weapons and such or play an entirely new support class, C. I just quit.
#Which direction should I go in?

i will say, ERP is not the core issue, only one of many. In raids, if you cant dps, you won't be accepted in any shape or form. It's a lengthy process to actually dps and requires you actually pilot said class properly so that will take lots of time.
What a lot of people do is get alts, specifically healers and use those to jump boost their main so their main can progress faster.
@vale radish Which healer class should I invest in? If possible, I want to stick to one of my three options, but I am willing to play a different class altogether.
Any of the healers are fine honestly. Bl and om are a bit on the harder side, but the other 6 are very easy

playing OM would be a good way to practice/learn dpsing a bit if ur doing berthe
he can basically main DPS in 6-8 man content bc of how his heal works
u would also benefit long term from having alts of the same character
@ruby fjord can u expla in more about how to deal as om?
Cure spawns a drone over each individual character in your party (there's no range limit) which all deal a separate instance of damage
so in classic 4 man party that's like.. 29k% if all 4 drones hit
in an 8 man parties that goes up because there's twice as much hitting the boss at once
Hi sorry I figured I would kinda use this post, but as a returning player, would it be better for me to make a new character for support like OM to fund my dps character? I see it is mentioned OM or support classes are made to fund mains but I do have a Add that already has some decent gear so I dont know if I should just continue on him
Do u have hyper punch gear from like 2 months ago or did u just come back
if hyper gear: probably not too bad to invest into DPS since +11 VoS and +10 tenebrous
no hyper gear: probably better to make support
If ur a good support (honestly just having sage + knowing how to play ur character) u can get into parties easily and from there make connections
If u have money and willing to spend just go DPS then make a support alt
