As of Summer 2024, Elsword has a total of eight consistent Healer-Support level classes - classes that are devoted to supportive, party buff skills and have a Bravery-level skill that heals the party's HP and MP, as well as a freezing skill. I believe Elsword should increase the number of classes that fit the above requirements for being a Healer-Support class in order to:

  1. Provide access to more healing classes within the community
  2. Lessen the difficulty of forming diverse parties and the trouble of finding healers
  3. Give more utility and occurrence of lesser used classes

As I have recommended previously in a post about Support Improvements universally in this channel (https://discord.com/channels/428264566074638338/1236137912639426601), I am separately explaining the Healer-Support portion here. I am suggesting that the total number of healers be increased from 8 to 12, two new Physical and two new Magical healers, as well as a minor level healer for occasional support. The four major Healer-Supports would also have freezing skills + their other buffs present in the current game, to keep up with the requirement of a Support-Healer.

Below I will name the best fitting classes and their Bravery skill for healing HP and MP.

Healer-Support Classes
Rune Master: Phoenix Talon
-Party instantly gets 20% HP/MP and get a 12% healing buff for 5s
-Party members gain magic projectile absorption and movement/jump speed buff for 15s after healing
Lord Azoth: Fermentation
-Party instantly gets 20% HP/MP and get a 20% healing buff for 5s (doesn’t Heal on memorized versions)
Adrestia: Catharsis
-Unmodded Catharsis now gives a buff healing party members HP/MP by 15% for 5s
Nisha Labyrinth: Zumyu
-Adds 18% HP/MP recovery buff to Zumyu Power buff, for 5s when summoned

Minor Healing Character
Rena: Perfect Storm
-Skill MP Cost increased to 220, heals 10% of HP/MP over 5s as a visible buff

I am using different posts to separate different topics, as I feel when I go past the first message in a post, our suggestions are not observed as clear and concise.

#

Additionally, it would be beneficial to keep some ideas in their own posts.

#

I would prefer seeing at least four new healers in the game, as well as Rena's Perfect Storm getting a small boost as I've been saying "she's an elf" and should have better healing compatibilities.

#

However, I could not clearly sort about a way for any of Rena's classes to have a Bravery-level healing skill as it may result in too much reliance on that particular class, or may not fit as that class is already a DPS, or even simply has no skill that would fit that purpose.

#

Airlennia was previously Rena's other healing skill, but times have changed and that skill have developed differently, so it therefore wouldn't really fit the mold of the current meta, especially as AN has become a DPS, overshadowing even TW.

finite wolf
#

they are removing cp scaling so the "Based on CP" will have to be rethought.

Also I want Oz to be a healer. swap aging and dark web skill tiers.
and turn it into an angkor skill along with plasma with increases dmg

fading gull
#

Nisha and LA give some healing is fine since both of them have some form of healing in they primary kits.

Idk about RM or AD tho. Both of them played as dps since released. Technically there is no rule that dps cant heal but...you known CE incident. Should moving into minor healing category instead.

versed tartan
#

Praying for Adrestia heal and Nisha MP heal please

thorn chasm
#

Surya uses Phoenix Wings to heal, so why not boost Phoenix Talon as well. Catharsis also references removing bad things or purifying.

finite wolf
#

AD should just straight up change unbroken belief to the healing skill.

thorn chasm
#

Or it could otherwise be similar to the current state of Perfect Storm, perhaps. I wanted something more consistent to match everyone else, and also to not overshadow the Resurrection + Damage Red. effects of UB already.

finite wolf
#

2/3 of a bravery skill amount for strength healing depending on duration/cooldown. same for perfect storm.

#

the need for a bravery to heal should not exist at all as it stagnates builds. what if balance changes come and a class ends up being very good for str, but has to build brav cause of a heal.

thorn chasm
#

I see. You are making some valuable points.

#

Additionally, I rephrased the post to include some helpful digits for instant/per second healing.

#

I may come back to this post later, but it is late at night right now.

fading gull
#

Wdym healing buff? Like Nyx heal hp per command, or New type of buff that increase all healing received?

thorn chasm
#

Not like Nyx's command, that is a horrendous method of getting HP for a major healer like him. That needs to be updated...

#

I don't know numbers goodly, so I just threw some random ones up there based off of the average amounts on Elwiki.

fading gull
#

you were literaly just put % in Phoenix Talon

Assume LA already give -% pot cooldown, 9% per sec and you fine

finite wolf
#

I would rather have LA get something for envelopes since they removed SA from it.

Make it the healing skill instead of fermentation.

Envelopes - Heal 10% of HP/MP per second. While homunculus is active healing is increased to 14%. while all 3 arche are active healing increases to 18%

Mod envelopes - 8% flat heals

its cooldown may need increased by 2~5 seconds

fading gull
#

If you heal that much Envelope have to became bravery tho. I dont mind it, but that mean Ferment even more ehhh to cast if it became Strength

finite wolf
#

envelopes can keep being a strength skill. the notion that healing skill must be bravery is ridiculous.

But this is going off holy grail heal amount 18% over 10 seconds with 17 sec cooldown along with DA innate cooldown decrease.

envelopes would need homunculus out and all 3 arche active. so there is a small down time.

this value also takes into account LA's bad cooldown. but at least the max value should be 15% then. and why is bluhens heal only 9%?

fading gull
#

Hmmm, okay it make sense

thorn chasm
#

Bluhen's heal is 9% because Blatt Blume healing buff last 10s unlike the majority of other healing buffs that last 5s-6s, I guess. So with a RaS you gain 21% x 5s giving 105 gain while with BL you get 9% x 10 for a total 90 gain.

#

Not sure why they did that, but hey who doesn't like variety.

#

Probably cause BL was the first healer in the game back then.

fading gull
#

Nyx only have 30% burst + 36% tick per cast. It can stack to x3, but normally you wont cast moon origin 3 times unless ceru + trans buff procc

#

I guess it because his dmg buff really buster and you could alway find 2 healer a team back then. But thing became goofy in abysss

thorn chasm
#

Moon's Origin could certainly use a revamp in terms of that Command Damage effect.

finite wolf
#

DA has 18% for 10 seconds but given his kits cooldown the uptime can last forever

surya has 18% for 5 sec.
avarice has 15% for 6 sec. not counting Vow 30% instant.
Demersio has 15%HP/25% mp for 5 Sec.

Screw this, all the healing classes need a max of 18% for 10 seconds or variations totaling 180% Heal. DA is so unfair.

forest vessel
#

I'm against changing characters and classes roles. It happened to my main and I'm upset about it. Only the community of a specific character that really had to be changed should be listen directly by KoG. I'm against to turning them into healers, while they are not.

finite wolf
#

what about being sub healers? bravery skills can be full healers and strength skills can be sub healers

RM - Rune Field (dur 10 sec)
LA - envelopes (dur 10 sec)
Oz - Dark web (10%mp 3 sec)
Rena - Perfect storm (5% hp 3 sec)
CU - Atomic shield (dur 10 sec) (change to strength skill)
Adr - Unbroken belief (dur 10 sec)
PO - Sparrow factory (dur 15 sec)

First off all the healers that exist now needs there heal amounts up to total 150% healed AT LEAST.

the sub healers would have a total 100% heal amount which is 10% over 10 seconds

The skills i listed are perfect to alter just a bit to provide healing. its also weird how they are in the perfect position to transition cause eve, elboy, elgirl have no healers and aren't really fit for the role. ES could have it tacked onto war prelude but adrestia seemed better built.

forest vessel
#

What do you mean by that?

#

You want what? Nerf it making it more expensive?

#

You know that it's a defensive only-skill and it's cd speed buff is a completely useless to herself?

#

That thing don't even follow you, you never use it outside raids.

#

I don't want to be an healer either, if you mean ruining a skill that already can't move by turning it more expensive in exchange for healing.

#

CU don't even need healing effects, she only need more mana, but having mana from a skll with which you can't farm (because it can't follow you), it's a waste.

#

I prefer to don't have it at all and instead getting a buff somewhere else, than being forced to pick that trash even while farming, despite it will be never useful because you don't stay h24 on the same point when you farm.

#

Buffing it will make pointless the buff on black hole, which was made to allow her moving forward faster, instead of killing mobs one by one as before.

finite wolf
#

Look here eve mains you all cant have it your way, either CE becomes the heal support path or CU gets a sub healing skill.

Screw it let atomic shield follow you and cost 150 mp, have it put mini shields on people and give it a mod skill that leaves it in place. may as well make the CDA buff apply to her.

Point is Each character needs a Heal path whether its sub healer or brav healer.

stop thinking about taking the scraps you are given and demand more like you deserve.

fiery creek
#

why does every character need a heal path?

forest vessel
forest vessel
#

And I never asked to be a healer, some characters are just not build for it.

#

CU is born as a tanky buffer with a decent damage against bosses and group of enemies, and that's want I want to be as CU.

#

Since atomic shield is useless, KoG should just delete it and merge the buffs with QT.

finite wolf
#

because kog backed themselves into a corner so we have highy selective classes for raids.

then fight the CE players cause CE has the tools for support pick one to be a sub healer. it wont modify their playstyle so much.

hell CE could heal party based on number of summoned units but CE players gripe

forest vessel
#

CE was a dps.

#

And KoG should have keep her as dps.

#

Since she still had the base Eve buff, that never got the CP scaling thing.

#

So, you got picked over any Aisha anyway.

finite wolf
#

a DPS with Full Support capabilities. Eve needs a full support class with some healing

forest vessel
#

And before any non healer class.

forest vessel
#

And Eve is not a healer.

fiery creek
finite wolf
# fiery creek why not give OZ the heal skill then

read above.

all those skills i listed should be sub heal skills

so apparently 90%-105% is the healing range for dedicated healers. Sub healing skills would heal 50-60% total.

so using envelopes/rune field/unbroken belief/sparrow, skill itself would heal 5/6% over 10 seconds (total 50/60%)

for dark web increase it by 2 seconds and add HP to it (total 50%)

Perfect storm increased to match dark web

For eve either atomic shield bumps to 150mp and is a str skill healing 5/6% or CE gets a small change that heals party 2% for each summoned unit out (max 6%). a fitting passive/skill will need chosen depending on duration 1% for 60 sec, 2% for 30 sec, 4% for 15 sec

fiery creek
#

so what about AD then

#

just massivly changing her direction from dps to support

#

same with RM

finite wolf
#

They are syn DPS characters to start with, same as Oz, they have consistently been labeled as the middle group(not specific words)

regardless unbroken belief heal part sucks so changing it to a constant heal over time would help the party without affecting anything she does, same for RM as rune field is already used and the perfect skill to tack on healing. RM needs more stuff though as well.

#

I don't even use dark web except on rare occasions cause it tends to suck most of the time. if it was a healing skill then i would feel more useful.

fiery creek
#

so why not make ES the healer then

#

since shes is the support option for elesis

finite wolf
#

oh i looked at that. see the criteria i looked at was~

I checked the skills they have and what they provided via raids. pure DPS classes and character with a full healer were excluded so i looked at syn dps classes exclusively which most are.

looking at the skills i chose ones that fit the most and go somewhat unused generally. in the case of Eve it was difficult cause kog already tried to do something with escensia but it faced harsh backlash so i moved on and put her on the back burner. I chose CU cause atomic shield was obvious and they always left out CU for the other 3 until recently. Eve needs a sub healing class and both fit so its just whats better equipped to handle it.

I discounted newer characters cause they are typically created with a support/healing class. we all thought AD was going to be a healer class when they teased her.

Back on the skills, i looked at ones that typically fell within 10-20 sec duration and were strength skills. Adrestia had ones but i did check ES. the only compatible skill is war prelude. but ES's direction felt odd and that skill already gives debuff immunity etc.

So adrestia was the better option. plus ES does get taken in raids a lot but you hardly see adrestia. i loosely used how often they were taken in raids etc.

As for RM he is just really lacking so he was easier to deal with. he could also shift into a full healer with phoenix talon if needed

fiery creek
#

so again why does every character need a healer path

#

and like lilia said
some things just dont mesh well like with CU and a healing atomic shield
youve now just railroaded most CU players into taking that skill as parties will now expect you to be carrying it

#

and depending on the character

#

adding in one skill can completely mess up rotations

finite wolf
#

I barely see any CU players in the first place. atomic shield has always been a part of CU and thats why they are taken at least before.

Every character needs a class or skill that heals the party since kog themselves walked this direction of class separation. I will always keep this line of thought with me

fiery creek
#

'kog said so' isnt much of an answer

#

why do YOU believe that every character needs a healer path

finite wolf
#

Because it isn't fair to people who raid to not be accepted because the syn DPS class they have sucks (not me though im fine with Oz) which is class separation. if characters that generally do not have a class that has a healer get a sub healer then it would work for both parties. i don't see how you didn't understand my point from the beginning. and yes "kog said so" is a valid answer.

forest vessel
# finite wolf oh i looked at that. see the criteria i looked at was~ I checked the skills the...

So, you ruined CU because ruining CE wasn't enough? Can't you just don't talk about characters that you are never going to play? Why ruining other people main? Healing is mostly useless, I don't want to lose what I got to heal. And atomic shield is a skill that deserve to be removed at this point, because it's a defensive buff that don't event move and the other buff on it is a complete joke, it change nothing and it's useless to CU, since despite she is forced to equip bravery on many places, her entire kit buff strenght spear skills. And she stay with no mana always, so it's pointless to have a skill ready, if you can't use it anyway. Did you know at least that atomic shield can't move, so you physically can't use it outside raid and certain Henir stages? And you have to move on raid... What if KoG nerf her somewhere to add this "healing" to it, but then they refuse to make the buff apply outside the current shield? You are going to die even on raid during some patterns, because it will not follow you, nor your party. And ** no ** atomic shield is not a part of CU rotation skills, you never use it on pve except sometimes on raid, if you come as "buffer" and against some bosses, but if you don't have to keep alive someone else is just a never pick (it was picked a lot of years ago, before KoG nerfed the offensive buff, but they removed it at some point and they had to add back a trash buff to force players pick the shield and CU players, since no one wanted just a shield with nothing more). And as CU I am accepted in raid, I'm not the first option, but I was never the last option because Eve as, since her "base" version a attack buff that works with both team (phy and mag) and it never suffered from the CP scaling "improvement".

slender raft
# fiery creek so again why does every character need a healer path

I feel like FullHorizon already explain why more healer is needed in his original post, namely to makes less burden in forming a party

And the reason "Because KoG said so" is exactly the reason behind it, every single late game dg require you to bring healer/freezer (namely Abyss or Wall) to the point you cannot run without one.

The worst part is there are only 8 class that is considered a healer AND half of it only works in Phys/Mag PT only

finite wolf
#

It's Very selective. While more brav healers would be nice my suggestion of sub healers is still valid. and sadly Elsword and others are cool but you are forced to be a DPS or compromise with mid support and dps. Even as an Oz using my support to the fullest I still lack in both DPS and support which others also feel the same way with their syn dps classes.

Giving more classes the ability to heal the party regardless of skill tier (tenacity is OP so no) would cut down on item spamming(like only 15% though) selective class parties and introduce new class synergy.

As for people who don't want their syn dps/DPS to heal then those classes need to be buffed so they actually fulfill a DPS role rather than have a DPS centric kit but stuck as a Syn DPS. (if anything i said makes sense).

Hi all, thank you for participating in this thread to discuss your feelings for and against the main subject. I want ya'll all to know your opinions are valid in this community.

#

I would suggest some of you to definitely voice some of your thoughts in the Feedback Channels in this server in regards to how you feel about there being too many healers/making too many characters have healing classes/ruining certain classes/etc in order to help more people become aware of your thoughts and stuff🙂

#

I would suggest those of you who want to tweak this suggestion a bit, and those of you who already have an idea generated with all the fancy details to also post your suggestion here in this Elsword Suggestion channel!

#

KOG will for sure not agree with everyone's idea here, so it is good to post your own suggestions in case they may like yours better than another one!🤓

#

It also helps give more variety in this channel to see what some people like more! I make like 40% of the ideas in this channel, so everyone else could definitely add there's into the mix!

#

Thank you for giving me your thoughts and I hope we get new healers one day to make finding and making parties easier for everyone.

I already answered many times about Eve in past suggestions, KoG picked range over speed and reducing mp required on skill cost for CU, so there is nothing more to say about it. Adding more changes in a different direction will only make the character worse. They changed a skill that didn't need a change, instead of one of the multiple strength skills that needed a speed up. I think it's better to don't touch CU again on how it works. QT needed a speed up, but it can cost less mp now, so it's not too bad as change, but it still kinda sucks as buff, even if there are multiple reasons on why, in theory, a CU should keep it, especially when you pick skills according to her passives and not to their raw damage without buffs (which doesn't help much, because her skills are still mostly slow, and the worst skills were left untouched, while her probably only good strenght spear skill got changed). Sadly she still can't use almost all her skills on mid-air, despite she is build to fly and have multiple buffs to increase her time on air... It would be useful to can cast spear skills on mid air and have a speed up on them, except on Assault Spear (which was better before, but it should stay as it is as a mod, so players will be free to choose if they need iframes or a faster and slightly bigger skill for clearing, since it is in fact kinda good for clearing now, but it lost a lot of utility against bosses and that skill was unique since it allowed you to move forward while casting). CU should stay as it is for now, it's sad to no longer have and offensive buff on Atomic Shield, but that skill can't move anyway, and she already need to pick too many buffs (at least in theory) to trigger the effects from her passives and the buffs themself... KoG did a good change on Critical Strike, but still it would have been a better move to make a mod for it, to let players choose what they need according to the map/type of enemies...

And I don't want to be a low tier healer ending up losing more damage (again)...

as a RM main i disagree with healing skills, and make him a support.
1st of all you cant make rune field a healling skill, its one of the most important buff to keep for damaging and its apply to party so i dont see the probleme with this.
The probleme i have with phoenix is : yeah it coulb be a healing skills but lets be honest rm dont need that, he dont need healing things his closer than a synergy (they can approve res shred and magical dmg for party...).
It seems like even if he has a healing skills it doesnt matter he's not designed for that.
The only thing RM need its more speed, better animation, better skills for clearing and mid air skills.
I know people think each character need a support/healing path but i dont think it fit with the playstyle of elsword.
RM is already to busy to keep his buff feed WoS bar... let's not add something useless for him.

verbal pond

I think it could work. Even if not healing, make it like pr, a pretty good support. If you choose elboi, youre stuck and useless for ran unless u dps. Arguably same for raven (rv is eh, u might get taken but u could also get a better support), etc. RM also needs more buffs in general as he lacks compared to the rest of the elbois. Having one class of elboi raven aisha eve (ce is an option but she did also get bonked) would help a lot. Maybe u dont need them as healers, but for sure make them a more important support. Look at CL (who has to pick either supp or dps), ES, and definitely PR who can do both

As much as I would love more variety for supports/healers, the only two classes in this suggestion that make any sense are Lord Azoth and Adrestia.

Lord Azoth is already a support, so giving her a skill that focuses on healing would be a great idea. She provides generic buffs that help both parties and can be a good filler support if needed.

Adrestia is just complete garbage as a DPS and honestly should be reworked into a support of any kind that way she can be useful earlier in the game instead of having to wait until 550 ERP and somewhere around 15m CP to actually be able to do something.

As for the other two... I don't really think that works.

Rune Master has a couple party buffs and a self buff which make him a Synergy DPS that leans him more toward the DPS side of that spectrum. He's okay right now, but honestly he just needs to be buffed more so he can reach his full potential instead of steering him in the completely opposite direction and making him a fully supportive character.

Nisha Labyrinth? No. Absolutely not. She finally became at least decent again after being the worst Laby for a long time and deserves to be the best DPS Laby in the game (go to hell TP). Turning her into a support would completely ruin her identity as a class and I don't see anyone playing her after that change when they could just as easily just play Radiant Soul instead, even if the Physical buffs were removed from her kit.

The only other classes I can possibly see being turned into a support/healer are Comet Crusader and Achlys since both can already be played as either a Synergy DPS or a full on Support.. The only issue with doing the former is that Chung would then have 2 Physical support classes and Chung mains would go feral over it. So we would have to skip over that, BUT, I think Achlys would be perfect for it. Her skills for DPSing are rather clunky anyway, so turning her into a support would probably be a lot more beneficial to her in the long run. On top of this, it gives us another magical support which we kind of need, that way it isn't the same 2 taken everywhere (RaS/PR and maybe some BL if anyone ever actually played him).

There really aren't many other classes that can be turned into this without creating an entirely new character and making every class they have a support (which honestly... KoG really should just do that instead, it would be way easier).

finite wolf
#

to be fair i chose characters that didn't have a healer class and had a 10-15 second duration str skill for my str healer ideas.

I would love to play a elsword support/heal path same for eve but we just got the current crap.

cause you cannot say that between 4 DPS classes of 1 character you will not favor one over the other disregarding phys/mag types. and when adrestia was being shown i was all in to finally get a support/healer path but we just got garbage(yes i said it and its no lie)

they made eve not fly as a class how did they not do something else for others.

lavish shuttle
#

The only Elsword class that could possibly make any sense at becoming a healer/support is Genesis, but even that would be a stretch cause it wouldn't fit his lore at all.

Adrestia literally needs to be a support cause she's dreadfully worthless otherwise.

And honestly... the only thing KoG probably would do is make an entirely new character (one is likely gonna come out) and making all 4 paths support oriented, that way they cover the lack of support options. The only way this would work is if they split it evenly - One Physical Healer, One Magical Healer, One Physical Buffer Support (similar to PR) and One Magical Buffer Support (also similar to PR). I don't think they could really do it any other way. Knowing them though, none of this will ever happen unless all servers decided to boycott the game until the change is made (as what happened the last couple times changes needed to be made). Hopefully it doesn't come to that, but we'll see.

Her problem is that she needs way too much to get going, similar to other classes (like my main, Twilight). Perfect High Level Gear, 550 ERP, Perfect party, and a whole slew of other things. It would be best for AD if she was turned into a support, especially since she has supportive capabilities already, that way early and mid game aren't a complete slog for her to get through, and they are. Even leveling her is a nightmare

verbal pond

not really, i know a under 400 erp AD, +11 glove, +10 top, +8 pant/shoes r15 who can duo dps in ran, it is very much prefered for erp farming, but it aint like they're non-functional without it. Just people tend to very much gloss over AD when ES and BQ exist and the population of AD is pretty low

I think they also gloss over her because FL is a cooler class, despite also suffering from similar problems

Still, considering that KoG already nerfed damage on supports, I don't want to get a bad healing skill, which will not increase my chance to get a party losing my damage while my damage is already worse than a lot of other classes. We all know that if anyone heal 5%, but someone else heal 10%, there is just no place for the first healer. Players already pick the best buffers and tend to discard similar buffers with a worse version of thing that they need. 5% will not make them accept you in a party, in fact if KoG nerf you to give you that healing effect on a skill, you'll get you chances to get a party decreased by a lot. Any bad buffer or specifically "healer" with a not top tier buff have to invest more on the gear to basically become a sub-dps, otherwise it's going to be hard to get any party.

Tl;dr: Idk how Els can get more Early/midgame class variety without adding supportive abilities/ changes to Less picked classes. Should It stay this way?

Non-Tl;dr:
Then I guess my question will be this:

*How do you bring in more variety of classes for the early to mid-game, if the most picked classes are supports? *

At the very least I can see some offensive buff additions being given to synergy DPSs that can prove beneficial to the party being one of the options, But if that isn't an option, we're just stuck with the same o'l group of Supports and "buffers" with no variety.

Now the supporting imo? Doesn't have to be healing, But It can be a blend of improved or increased defensive utilities (dmg recieved decreases, def buffs, shields) or Even more offensive dmg buffs that may be self-focused being converted to party-wide as a option.
And for some characters Say OP? Maybe increasing the values of some of his buffs from the measly 5%(I See you Weghame) to a 10 or 15%.

or RV's Catacomb into a straight-up 10% ASD Buff at Stage 3 Vals while moving Strength and bravery to Stage 1 & 2.

to answer the question of "why do we need to give healing?" imo I see it as a way to bring in variety. At the least there's some other choosable options for folks whose style doesn't align with Noah, Laby, Lithia, Bluehen to be specific, etc. But like the forte/styles and systems of Elboy, Eve*(Saying this as a HYPOTHETHICAL, Not as a demand to change anything, I get that you DO NOT Want A Eve Healer-style support.)*, Elesis, Raven (RV exists but is in a form of limbo), But don't have the luck of getting into certain parties if they don't have the full-course kits similar to The usual Support picks.

In my view, I can understand wanting to keep certain things in character/ identity. I can also see a grand amount of players saying "If you don't want to play the "big-name supports" Then that's on you." Which is something i've accepted long ago.

#

But for folks who Don't want to go that route, Playing some of those supports may not be as fun to them, Or turn the game into a chore due to Style differences, Character Interests, and due to how playing those main supports turn the game into a Chore, as they're not playing someone they enjoy, but playing it as a Resolution to their Main not being desired in Raid content (Thus killing the fun of it, Leading to a decreased player population count).

Thus, you get this: People who want to see certain characters that are DPS or "Synergy DPS with Sub-par utility (going off of desireability/pick rate)" that they enjoy or see less of, get some supportive options that make them appeal more to the party. Thus letting them invest time into Their mains, and less time into amping a Support alt to fund their mains.

This semi-essay is nothing more but a assumption, built from observations in raid party, party picks, and the state of late-game.

Also, **The case of AD: **
-Her debuffing, party Skill cooldowns are neat.
-Unbroken belief is a interesting skill,
-If they want to really add healing, I'd like to see what [Mod] Magnolia can be converted into. (hell it would be funny seeing a Divinus Maus Giga- Flower rolling around and giving people a HoT and MP Regen, while hurting your enemies)
-Hell, Maybe [Mod] Red Prison can be turned into something more utility than a Simple PVP Jump Shutdown.
-Catharsis should get back that Crit dmg Recieved Debuffing.(otherwise persuade me why she shouldn't)

-My Real gripe, and problem with AD When I played her on Day 1 is the Early fight uselessness of her [Path breaker] Passive.

It takes reaching 50% HP to gain any offensive utilities, The Attack speed is iffy, or Not as noticeable in terms of Party impact, Especially if people can just do a title switch: GoE or Freed Shadow -> Switch back to BnW or whatever power title they use.

I find messing with path breaker to be rough, Because imo, I would want to see the attack speed replaced with a [Crit damage 5%] or [Special active Damage 5%] at Stage 1, and then increase it's values by 2.5% Per stage. Leading to a Stage 3 path breaker being:
[ 10% Special active dmg or Crit dmg , 10% Boss Dmg, 10% Mag Dmg]

Now I can be wrong about path breaker, Maybe that 10% is a viable thing. But It just doesn't seem that impactful at the start.
And imo? I did think that Adrestia on Day one would've been more Support oriented/ Mag buff-focused as a 4th path mag elesis, especially with FL being the DPS path (although im sure she needs some help). besides that, she has good bones.

and I'll say this: as much as ERP can make you hella powerful, It shouldn't be the band-aid for how powerful a character can be. I can imagine a top pick DPS or Support with high ERP, and they can still be disgusting. Lets call out the problems, and seek out solutions.

(Same applies to other characters)

# fallen siren Also, **The case of AD: ** -Her debuffing, party Skill cooldowns are neat. -**U...

(Elaborating on the Path breaker Ideas)
I mentioned that my changes would be rough, because KoG would probably do a whole different action.

for starters, they may just do a Scaling buff based on the bosses HP. Say:

Stage 1: Speed, Boss dmg, Mag attack: 5% ->Stage 2: Speed, Boss dmg, Mag attack: 7.5%
-> Stage 2: Speed, Boss dmg, Mag attack: 10%

Or worse case scenario:

**[Path breaker] ** : gives a flat 7.5% Boss dmg, mag attack, and speed buff. (leading to it being a Nerf , or some harsh balancing)

And while they change it into that, They may nerf her other passives such as unwavering or her other utilities from her Debuffs. That style of "Balance Patching/ "Improvement methods" to make AD get "Fixed" Is a crappy method, and set her and other classes who need help in a rough place instead of just adding goodies without subtracting it.

#

really, Whoever is in charge of the balancing team, LET A CHARACTER WHO NEEDS MORE, HAVE MORE.

#

Still. I want to see characters that are not used often be able to gain some relevence and interest.

If adding Heals aren't the way, or improving said characters supportives or buffing isn't it, then what the hell is the next option?
(Excluding RNG methods of Enhancement, ERP Levels)

Rant over.

BQ - shadow edge now attaches to allies and gives buffs based on which chilvary mode shes in
annialation - attached allies get increased dmg
gale - attached alies share in her recovery when she life leeches with gale skills

#

same break mechanic that current shadow edge has to enemies tho so you need to stay together

#

Rune master - rune field is now effected by sword enchant
fire - what it does right now
nature - heals
ice/water - doesnt freeze but adds like flat 1-2 seconds to any freeze effect done inside it

#

LA
mod mystic flask - the flask is thrown and explodes similar to an orb or Joaquins flasks
white - defense shred
yellow - hp heal buff to alies in range
blue - freeze

rugged dragon

they actually added that as a mechanic?

i mean before it was just an implied dmg loss because it stalled on top of your char and sped up the further out it went

tame herald

nah this mech was there the 1st time they added the wheel

rugged dragon
