#Reinvigorate- Improving the state/Population of Arena

In the PVP channel, I wanted to bring this up thanks to a few people: Lerne, for mentioning a duelist weapon Idea, and Casian for talking about "incentives" which can bring more people in.
I'm making this post to see what people would say can improve these two things:
-The state of arena in terms of player count
-the playability/ Reasons for playing arena (say: Daily to weekly rewards, Season reset rewards.
I want to hear people's thoughts, views, and Ideas on what you'd want to see in this game mode that would improve the overall arena player count, or incentivization to play arena.
Do's and Don'ts
DO :
-Talk about what Ideas you have
-Go in-depth on why, along with your rationale and reasoning. Persuasion and collective agreement on one or more idea is fine.
-Treat people the way you want to be treated.
-Upvote or Heart a Idea that you like to see

DON'T:

Get personal with your discussions, arguments, (simply put, Treat people the way you want to be treated, If you act like a punk to people, expect people to treat you as such. )

break this into a conversation about PVE suggestion unless these ideas can impact PVE in a positive or negative way
For future and discussion sakes, Do NOT Reccommend:
-Removing the CEO(think about what KoG can do now or in a good while currently that would make players hop in, or even make you want to return to arena, despite some of it's flaws)
- Balance patches( even I would want balance patches, that'll come in due time, hopefully, and I'm positive that KoG will have those balance patch feedback posts.)
- forcing people to limit the gear that they use( One thing is for sure, you cannot control how people think, BUUUUT Adding a pvp based weapon isn't off the table)
Collective agreements Is the goal. Lets give this company something solid to see.
I'm gonna throw my Ideas in.

**Daily and weekly Rewards. **
Daily:
-Sage stones ( 2-5 based on your rank number)
Weekly rewards:
-Sages (5-15 based on rank number)
or
-Blessed time and space scrolls (1-5+ based on ranking number )
can be made regular, [Luriel] or [ariel] based on how impactful it is on the marketplace.
Season end rewards
-Current rotation Ice burners (2-10+ based on ranking( from E~Star )
Reason Is to incentivize people to get into arena, Inflate the arena's population, give player who want a breather from pve to give another mode a shot.

Suggestion: Upgradeable PVP weap; KOG had raid weapons where we were able to upgrade our weapon based off a certain amount of resources
There was also an old spar weapon (which everyone can still see in Camila’s option even though the weapon is unobtainable now) that would get more enhancements after collecting resources from PVP quests
I remember that. Still got mine. People say im geared when i use it. Sometimes it's funny.
I'm for a upgradable pvp weapon. it'd also save some costs in comparison to prepping a PVE weapon for pvp, if they keep that price philosophy that they had for Sparring wep.

bring back spar weapon then force spar stuff to enter arena
could also make it so that you can put your spar stuff in a special loadout that automatically replaces your normal gear when you enter
then you wont have to even think about it
Want to add in some thoughts.
As much as I'd love to see some form of equalization, it may cause issues for those who did build their power around arena.
I still want to see how a duelist weapon will be. And based on how strong it is, It may be able to stand up to most pve gear, rendering the second half of the suggestion un needed.

Remove AP cap
NPC only mode for players to farm for old PvP titles
Thoughts on Duelist Weapon:
Sounds great on paper but it would have to be on par or worse than Raid weapons. Not a good idea imo cuz that means PvE raids will be less populated.

shouldnt be using them in pvp anyway
besides if pvp is the only thing holding raids together maybe that says something bad about the raids
I know you don't want to hear this but there are certain people who mainly do PvE to be strong in PvP.
I used to be in the camp of PvP not allowing certain PvE elements in that mode but it wouldn't be fair to all the people who wasted all their time and money on their current gear.
Arena is where almost everything goes. If you want a fair and even fight, there are tournaments with restrictions to allow a fair playing field or you can always just spar.
The only middle ground I can see in all of this is making the hypothetical PvP weapon be of Legend quality since if it wasn't, that's one less socket PvP mains won't have access to.
As a hybrid main, I disagree. Both modes have their own merits and incentives for players to do in.
And its been that way for the longest time.
PvE has to mix with PvP to keep the game alive.
Think about it like this.
If Raid weapons aren't allowed in PvP, then what's the point of the raids to begin with? Do the same current tier content over and over again????
And this is someone who got totally one-shot in a #1082805921438244995 video I shared.
So I do not understand why should be seperated from the other.
They have already done so with gear restrictions with duelist and tenebrous.

Idk if a npc node would even happen or be a thing but that'd be golden for farm8ng those npc titles.
I dont believe it'll happen, eventhough we have the DoSI(Sinister intent) dungeons.

I'll consider. Though it's in here to see what people would say, give and conclude on in terms of pvp improvements, incentives, solutions.
Abd also due to not having a full single idea for the suggestion. So I sought to see what people suggest. The more that peole suggest a single thing or two, the more of a chance we can agree on and push that thing into fruition.
(Edit addition, consider this place as a growing idea-bank for this god forsaken, yet potential having mode. Potential in how It can improve the game state
And in terms of what im seeing, everyone(about 4 people) so far is down for a duelist weapon for arena.

Suggestion 3 is a go.
Suggestion 2 will need further discourse.
And for suggestion 3, though self explanatory, give some reasons why.
For me:
-Killing the need to lose excess ap, allowing larger stacks of ap for items, magic stones, etc.
I understand an ED cap for economy reasons but I see no good reason it should apply to AP as well. At least increase the cap if one finds it too detrimental to remove it.
Changing wording to ap cap increase.
Lastly, if its a cap. 200k or 300k?
Think in a way that would make KoG say "pssh why not? Do it."
Would love to go uncapped, but ye.

Suggestion: Giving super-armor commands a cooldown after x amount of times
It’s not fair to spam the same string and always be rewarded for it
That sounds horrible
Low-key would be less cancer to just not have them at all ... And that's already bad
a question on that front is :
How would it be kept track?
If done, i could see a Counter in terms of "super armor used" buff, where it hits, 5-10 uses, it triggers a "non super armor" debuff negating the activation of super armor.
I think another issue comes along the lines of how the super armor comes out(in terms of hard-coded into the skill, or toggle style via: skill traits( Aquire super armor effect for example)

also, i had to double take it, You're refeering to commands.
as much as i'd like to see some characters/ players kill the reliance on stoic, That may be detrimental when they're dealing with Ranged matchups.
and imo? those ranged matchups are iffy when going with neutral commands.
add in other characters to the mix where their hitstun is greater than the majority of the cast(laby for example, or elesis's initial X command.) super armor is a alternative to some chars.
mind you, alternative if it's used well, and you're able to bait or be near un-readable.
