Yeah too much aspd doesn't let you do the combo unless you're mashing the key to get the input out; personally, as CS/CEs I have 25% or less since t hey have aspd buffs
And CA can't do her juggling command if you have 25% aspd or more, so you don't want too much aspd on Eve in general
The only exception would be CU since she doesn't have to rely on anything aspd dependent

For me with elsword pvp beating people usually just sums up to like 2 things
- Is the way the opponent is playing the job the stereotypical way it normally is? If it is, does my class have way to deal with it?
- If they're doing something abnormal does my class have a way to deal with it?
Once you get used to the typical flowchart some jobs follow in pvp matches they just get really easy to beat. It only starts to get rough when the job you're playing actually can't deal with something (which is why you pick top tier characters to play) or the opponent you're facing is doing something different from the usual.
The later usually happens when you face better and better people. Beating them usually revolves around figuring out how they specifically like to play their character than how the character in general likes to play. Which is probably the hardest part about the game cuz you gotta pay really good attention to habits to be good at it and its not something most people actually naturally pay attention to tbh.

Elsword is a bad game to learn because theres no database of footage of relevant data because gear and character balance changes too often over the years. Most characters also don't actually have guides on how to pvp when they might be incredibly straight forward for 95% of what they do, but its the 5% that isn't straightfoward in that situation that messes people up. And then PVP in general doesn't actually have a real guide.
Plus a lot of this game is experiencing micro-interactions that happen inside of a match, recognizing and memorizing them, and then repeating the stuff that works and staying away from the stuff that doesn't. Which takes thousands and thousands of games. Which most people never reach.
Its why most people that seem insanely good at elsword are mostly just old players.

There's also this. The gear wall is a heavy burden that starts to trouble you the moment you take the game even remotely serious.
To be considered actually gear-relevant nowadays you literally need at minimum +11 s4 or s5 VoS, +10 duelist armor, and nice pvp specific ibs. And that's just the minimum. Most of the people that take pvp really seriously at this point are rocking SoAs and some combination of full +11 or half and half +10/11 armor.
The people that think you can survive fine on +10 fojs and void weapons are actually the people that don't breach the first layer of understanding elsword pvp which is knowing when your stats are trash and your experiences aren't accurate for what your class actually should be experiencing.
Though not everyone can just throw money at the game so sometimes being stuck like that is just how it is.

I was a young CA once. I grew up in a small village, where all the classes got along in harmony. It wasnt until I reached adult hood where I learned the cruel reality of my kind. I relocated into the main city, I did not understand the looks of distain I got. Until, I saw it. CAs, like me, being toxic as hell. Bullying people. I cried out "stop it! What are you doing!?" I reacted and used my powers to stop them from hurting a MP and defeated them. Little did I know that action would change my life. I was taken away and locked int a prison, I thought I would perish there forever. But somehow, the MP (lerne) snuck in and broke me out.

you actually didn't play too horribly
its just on 1 combo you basically panicked and dropped it
so because of that you didnt get to do anything to lower kd so the next time you touched him he just auto kded
Which is unfortunate but basically the whole match went downhill after that combo drop cuz it basically lead to wasting more mp to recatch him but then he didn't actually mp break so you basically equalized mp on both sides in like 2 mistakes.
Alot of the time to work around these situations you gotta instantly do w/e lowers KD the moment you touch ppl instead of a combo that does alot of dmg. So for CA I guess it would be instantly throwing out some >>XZZs instead of XX>X or something.
also ur a bit too loosey goosey with mind photograph but I guess thats every CA.
Though I think from that match specifically you where just dashing back and forth at the top of durahan but it was clear he wasn't really gunna jump up there. That's kinda when you wanna make the effort to like move to the same X axis as the opponent. Which you did do eventually, its just it was the same time he decided to run out at you and do something. So you unfortunately got caught.

My back issue is from a different problem. And knees have to be fixed thru physical therapy now

tuff. hope that physical therapy pays off. I don't have the same issue as yo do , but for the knees and legs i do this:
squat holds(or horse holds)
horse holds is simply staying in a slight sitting squat position.
hold it for 10-20 seconds , or till failure. it's all based on tolerance, and how consistently you do it.
don't forget to BREATHE deeply, don't neglect the breathing either
