#Single Stick Stunts

Just get better at the game?? Unless only got one arm….
While I don't think this addresses your concern entirely... There are nearly 20 single-stick stunts which can be assigned to any of those 4 inputs in the Stunt Tuning menu in the Locker.
We had experimented with allowing the dual-stick stunts be assigned to a single stick, and while it wasn't a good experience, it was "functional". However, that would still give you only 4 stunts.
If you have some suggestions about how you would like it to behave, we're all ears. We would like the game to be accessible for more players.
We could’ve gone back to Reflex, Alive, SX Encore’s trick system where we input three different directions to pull off a certain trick? Sorry for the tag
Maybe have the second stick be usable but ONLY for stunts?
The EA sakte trick system could be a nice solution, it adds a lot of trick variety on 1 stick (imagine with 2), a level of "difficulty/skillgap" because you have to learn the pattern and the timing, and the best for me, is immersion, by throwing sticks in a coherent way thats makes you the do the right trick, it feel more grounded, more real.
it'shard to compare directly to skate because it's a bike game lol, but doing a kickflip by ⬇️ ↗️ feels more credible and rewarding than R1+X (it's a fake example, just to give the idea)
Yeah no thanks, I prefer the current and old fashioned stunt controls
could be just an option
the EA skate trick stuff wouldn’t really work right? because of preload, and seat bounce. it’d be hard to code it into the game for it to only be in the air unless you press another button to activate it?
Thanks for the suggestions. Keep them coming.
also ya'll please be aware that if you directly reference designs from other games it actually makes it more difficult for us because we risk infringement if we do something similar in the future
