1 feature at a time and please put a title related to the feature itself.
All of this will make it easier for devs to find and evaluate your feedback.
It’s dirtbikes why not make the experience as close as possible to the real experience what a dirtbike feels/rides like? Or at least have it as a customizable setting that can be a realistic settings or mode in free ride or something. All these things listed are already in mxbikes created by a single developer/designer. They should allow everyone to fully customize their bikes power settings to their liking. At this point all I’ve seen and heard from mxbikes is everything a dirtbike should have as options in a up to date game. Once I get my pc in the next week the only downside to the game will be the graphics are not as polished as legends. That’s why I’m requesting these things because I will be prolly not be turning this game unless maybe to check out whatever updates they do have
that's fine though, it just means MvA games aren't for you, they're are designed with all intents and purposes to be arcade games, they are intensionally made that way and they are made for the audience looking for that type of gameplay. MX Bikes or Sim would be more up your alley if you're looking for realism because you'll never really find it with MvA games. It has nothing to do with a lack of competence on the devs side, they did exactly what they set out to do by developing an arcadey, unrealistic experience.
I don't play mx vs atv for realism, I play it to send huge jumps, I don't wanna sit there and struggle as if I'm playing mx bikes, it just isn't fun, mx vs atv should be easy to play and learn so it can appeal to a bigger audience
Also, if you're not a huge fan of the clutch boost, have you just considered not using it?
Mx vs atv games are already not the most popular genre of game, so if it was like mx Sim or mx bikes even less people would enjoy it
The mx Sim games take forever to learn and most people wouldn't find that enjoyable and don't have the time to get good at a game like mx sim
I understand wanting better physics, but if the game is too hard people won't play it, and right now I know for a fact that many people like the current physics and just completely changing the current physics would make most of the player base a bit mad
That’s fine and I just think they should just have the options to turn into simulator mode and a arcade mode. There’ are no simulators on console for dirtbikes which is why I’m going the way of the pc because it’s literally the only way to get from what I’ve seen the most customization in settings.
Hopefully one day console can get a full Sim mx game
I have tried using the opposite settings of clutch boost it just feels so off from what a real dirtbike does to me in my opinion
It’s prolly not going to happen any time soon unless a developer actually fills that niche
I do understand people hating the clutch or preload system, it makes sense why someone wouldn't care for them, they're kinda a cheat to cheese sections sometimes
I just want what it feels like when I electric start my bike and hit the throttle and clutch
Like if I crash, I can tap the clutch then preload to easily clear a triple for example
right, but this game isn't really trying to feel like the real thing in the same way that Burnout Paradise or Trackmania aren't supposed to feel anything like actually driving real cars. Simulators only work on PC because they're the only players, "hardcore," enough to put in the work that it takes. Console gamers want an easy, casual experience. They're not trying to change 100 settings and sliders, set up mods, load in skins and maps and all that and then on top of that, putting in 100 hours before you complete your first lap successfully without crashing, most console players just don't play that hardcore or have the time it requires to sink into it
MX Bikes is also a bad comparison because the game is basically nothing without mods, if you played the game completely stock, it's pretty not great lol I couldn't imagine running the stock bikes in that over the OEMs. Which obviously if it was on console, you couldn't install OEMs that modders make to even make the game what it is
Your right there are to many options and customizations for the average casual gamer doesn’t mean the company can’t try to cut that time and make preset bike mapping settings geared more towards the casual gamerand also the “hardcore” or sim gamer.
that's kind of asking a very small team of devs to develop an entirely different physics model on top of what already took them many years to make
I mean for a game that’s been out for over a year and still have these terrible sounds is an indicator that things that should be already done, aren’t
yeah I think that just comes down to the team being very small and them needing to decide what needs more focus/priority. They've been working on the physics since the game launched, now they're finally feeling like the physics are in a good place and can focus more on other aspects
You don't realize how bad the sounds are until you start playing older mx vs atv games again
That’s what I mean it’s almost like they devolved from things that should be mandatory in any mx game
Here’s an idea. Keep clutch boost. Slow down the bikes
Clutch boost is mid, after finally being on mxbikes can confirm this game is dead to me now
"After playing Tarkov, Fortnite is dead to me." 🙄 completely different genres of video games and I'm sure you'll be saying PiBobo bouncing is mid soon enough. Bye 👋🏻
I’ve put in 7+ hours on the game so far as a beginner and have had more fun on this then the entire time I’ve played legends. I’m not trying to be a hater of the game just for consoles and and having a limited selection of authentic motocross games I would hope they would cater to just one “group” of players
More than just one group*
