Hello, ive been trying to find a modpack i played many years ago but still cant find it and would like some help. The modpack was a hardcore/realistic theme and had no magic stuff in it. As its been a long time, the only things i can remember is you had to pick up sticks and stones off the ground to craft items, and included different types of stones such as basalt. Also, when attacking friendly mobs such as pigs, they would attack back. Im pretty sure there was a quest system as well. Sorry for the minimal info, but if this sounds famaliar to anyone let me know.

I'd imagine if you're having issues with specifically for draconic evolution then you should probably find a support thread on a forum for that although the Minecraft helps channel on the server and one of the help channels on the feed the beast server on discord are both pretty good

I've been using the mod in control but it seems that anytime I write a script for in control it does anything serious it makes more lag than it stops

For a while it was the mod ice and fire but since then I've restricted that mod so hard that it consumes hardly nothing and 90% of the time there's nothing from them not even being rendered, now my lag is vanilla mobs as far as I can tell

I think what's happening with in control is it's getting a hold of mob spawners and then running its prompt every time a mob attempts spawn

I'm looking for a mod or program that automatically assigns key binds. I have a modpack with around 200 mods and there are so many conflicts that I'm to lazy to fix them all individually. Is there maybe a mod that automatically assigns keys if there's a conflict? And when not why not? I can't be the only one with this problem O.o

An example: I have a backpack mod, a map mod, an overlay mod and an ore excavation mod. They all use "b". No mods is working properly, because there is a huge key bind conflict. A mod which automatically switches keys would be nice, because if don't want to spend hours in the key bind option just to find the right key. I don't immediately see which key is unbinded, so a mod would be nice.

i get what you want, but there are far too many variable for a mod to account for.
for one, everyone has different keyboards. Not all keybaords are created equally.
most modpacks have more keybinds than can possibly fit on a single keyboard
and there is no way for a mod to identify which keys are vital and need priority keys.

these are all things you as a modpack creator need to decide and work around.

Hello everyone. We would be interested in finding a solution to create a mineral extraction rol. We would like a whitelist that allows a few users to be able to break blocks of coal, redstone, gold, etc. But all the others when they try to take it should disappear. As happens when trying to mine gold or diamond with a wooden pickaxe. Do you think there could be a solution with some Mod you know or with command blocks?
Same thing for example for shearing sheep ... or harvesting wheat. Would be great.

Hi, all,
I'm on v1.16 and trying to create wires that transfer redstone signal and go through 1-block-deep walls or look like they're going through those walls and attach to one side of the wires a lever.
I have Mekanism, Create, Immersive Engineering, and am willing to install other mods if necessary.

I so far was able to make Immersive Engineering wires to "go through" walls by chiseling a 3x3 single-bits square (was the smallest size I could get the wire to pass through) - it transferred a redstone signal and activated a redstone-activated block just fine.
An issue there is is that one of the wire's ends need to be connected to a redstone wire connector, and it's not possible to place levers on that. While it's possible to put the connector on the other side of the wall, to cover it up I would need another wall beyond that, or chisel a 1-bit-deep cover for that wall, but I wouldn't be able to place a lever on that.

I'd highly appreciate help figuring this out. 🙂

for what it's worth - the mod "redstone gates" has a wireless RF transmitter and receiver (modeled after repeater / comparator blocks) that could possibly get you from one place to the other without even needing this solution
