Hello Guys,
I am looking for people to play/test my Skyblock 1.16.5 Fabric Modpack: **Sky FABRICation **
I have released 0.8.0 yesterday and it contains the first 3 quest chapters (The Beginning, Stone Age, Mechanical Age). Up to the Electricity Age, the path that you have to go to get there is now fully implemented. Including some custom recipes and mechanics.

But before you can use Mods like TechReborn or AE2 in this modpack, you have a long way to go. From the Stone Age to the Mechanical / Bronze Age (Mechanical Tech and Alloy Forgery) to the Steam Age (Modern Industrialization) you will need a lot of time to get into the Electricity Age. But from there, the doors to all other energy-based tech mods are open to you. Mods like AppliedEnergistics2, IndustrialRevolution, TechReborn and many other. But Magic Mods will also be added as a side story in future updates.

me and some volunteers from the OSO community are making a pack but we do not have a scripter we would like someone to volunteer to be a scripter for the pack dm me or Aorping#9998 if you want to be the Scripter/Develper.
it has 400 + mods and is mainly based around building adventure and magic and theres some tech and were working on doing quests with game stages and the game stages part is why we need scripters and at some point there may be other mods that wed need one for.
and maybe a few artists as well if we ever need custom mods

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

Check if the modpack has a server pack, if it does: use that and skip below.
Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
Run the server again.
Port forward your machine if needed. (Google it)

How to install mods in CurseForge App.

Click + Create Custom Profile
Name it, select the required Minecraft version, select the Forge version (usually the highest number), click Create.
Click the profile icon.
Click Add New Content
Search and install the desired mods.
Start the game!

How to install mods not on CurseForge.

Right click the profile picture or Open the profile and click the Icon next to the play button.
Click Open Folder.
Drag the mod(s) into the mods folder. (Note: Some mods will require others, to run. Make sure to read the instructions for the mod!)

A lot of times whenever I'm running a server and someone's having issues it's because of one mod in particular, and usually you can find that mod because when you look at a thing your frame rate will dip

For me the last time I had this problem I had aquaculture two installed. The fish would all have custom hit boxes and shapes and every bit of grass moved and so everyone with a slower PC would look at water and then freeze. Typically anything that has a lot of moving parts or a lot of particle effects will do it to you fire and ice is really bad about it as well. Generally if you're running slow but only at times it's because you've looked at something or gone near something that slowed you down

Vampirism has a progression system with abilities but that's about the only similarity. I think the origin story mod sets offer different unique things. Other than that I haven't messed with many mods that give players abilities and passives and stuff based on experience and quests

How to install mods in CurseForge App.

Click + Create Custom Profile
Name it, select the required Minecraft version, select the Forge version (usually the highest number), click Create.
Click the profile icon.
Click Add More Content
Search and install the desired mods.
Start the game!

I'm trying to rebalance 3 curio mods around each other so I need to eliminate redundancies, and then I also want to remove any item I find that would be able to grant creative flight.

EMC gets rid of part of what makes Minecraft Minecraft, My completely removing the need to do anything, also all of the equipment in it are absolutely unhinged good, All in all EMC just turns your average mod pack into a game of how much stuff can I get before I become unstoppable and killable and I no longer need anything, because I can have any amount of anything I want the second I want it on demand, with virtually no cost. If that's your thing why not just play and creative mode. That being said EMC fits very very well in some mod packs like stoneblock or Skyblock because of the nature of those mod packs

Curated EMC packs can be fun. The problem with modded minecraft is most mods are designed to be played by themselves and are balanced against vanilla Minecraft.

So naturally kitchen sink packs are super easy to cheese because of imbalance between mods.

Which is why I'm looking for something that will allow me to disable the OP equipment, so I can use the mod for "I don't want to spend the next 3 days loading new chunks waiting for RNG to spawn me the structure I need that might have the item I need in it"

I mean just play mod packs that don't need that much RNG. I'm playing Infinity evolved right now and I don't think I've run into that problem yet, I mean I see the allure to EMC, and I think you can disable a lot of its functions in its config file.

I agree, I very enjoy EMC is a mod it's one of my favorites but Lord I would never play it in a serious mod pack unless it was designed around EMC. And just running this server that I'm running with Infinity evolved, Even with how well balanced feed the beast packs are, at his turned into a job making sure that your draconic doesn't stomp on everything

Have you just knocked the EMC down to copying basic things or something? Because if you think of a good way to balance out EMC in a mod pack I would love to hear it I love the mod it's just unhinged when it comes to the balance of most mod packs

It's a craft tweaker is my favorite. It's a little hard to wrap your head around how it works at first but once you get an understanding of the language that it uses I have come to enjoy it. Especially cuz you can use it to change recipes as well

I know for a fact with craft tweaker you can just outright remove an item. It becomes unobtainable unlootable and uncraftable
