If I had to find it? I'd probably start looking at any mod names with the world "Physics", "Water", "Fluid" or other related terms in them.

Once you find it, I personally would check if it has a config first. To see if it can be tweaked or disabled before fully removing it from a modpack. As that can cause issues at times. (Or straight up being unable to join a server if it's a multiplayer pack.)

Thats likely not something you can fix with another mod but something that isnt acting right with your already installed mods

To start a profiler run the command /spark profiler start in game. This may tell you that there is a profiler already running, you will need to stop that with /spark profiler stop before starting a new one.

I know the feeling. It's why I tend to use shaders like BSL or Complementary Reimagined because they preserve that feel perfectly if you can get the settings just right
