You could also do something with KubeJS, block broken condition for stone that just cancels it no matter what, or under certain conditions depending on what you're mining it with

In (mostly) vanilla you could place a barrier and put an invisible item frame on it. Not survival-friendly, you'd have to have some other invisible block for that to work

Probably something custom-made that won't be published anywhere. Odds are it's only got the blocks shown in the video coded in and anything else won't work, anyway, since it'd be pretty hard to look at every block registered and register a unique texture for the armor and weapon for each one without manually doing it, and that's typically far out of the scope of some random one-off video

Hello. Does anyone know a mod that lets repair netherite tools and armor using their diamond versions? Or maybe someone could make a mini-mod like that... NF, 1.21.1

I try to balance my game. I delete mending, because it totally ruin late gameplay, but netherite armor has a durability almost as diamond one. I have absolutely no desire to dig up the whole nether in my forever world, it’s already a mess after my last digs. Nezerite armor was clearly designed for mending enchantment. In active combat, it breaks after just two raids with intence fightings. Right now, the only realistic option for me is not using netherite armor at all.

No, it have real elevators with floor directory and even displays which floor the elevator car is on, it can be any size and has doors. I can’t imagine anything better or more sophisticated within Minecraft. Check out the guides on building an elevator. There’s exist a simple rope pulley for basic tasks, but that’s not what I’m talking about.

That sounds very specific. In theory, something like this could be implemented in Create using extended pistons. So far, this is the only mod that works with large structures, treated as a single entity rather than individual blocks, and that includes the necessary mechanical components.

The problem is that the transmitter doesn't work on the assembled objects. It goes inactive. When I wanted to build a simple pulley elevator, I had to program it to stop every 10–15 seconds so that the pulley structure could “disassemble” and I could choose a direction or continue moving. Unfortunately.

Why not put the logic on the solid floor where the mechanical piston is receiving rotation? This was you could on a press of a button go up, down, or stop.

I'm talking about a basic pulley. I used this setup with drills under the platform so that while digging down the shaft, I could stop at any time and survey the surroundings. An actual elevator that could be built there would obviously have many more features. But that clearly wasn't suitable for my situation 🙂

Of course, I placed the logic on a solid block next to the pulley. This includes the rotation interrupter. The thing is, the transmitter also has to be placed on a solid block in order to work. It doesn't work on a moving platform.

You should check out Create Aeronautics, which was just released. It has waaaay more features. You can build drawbridges and just about anything else. You can also check out its mechanical capabilities online, there are already plenty of videos out there, and you might find a solution that works for you by looking at other structures involving movement. But I can’t make any specific recommendations, since I haven’t worked with this add-on yet.

Sequenced gearshift. Give it a redstone pulse and Create will tell the piston to move whatever amount of blocks you set it to in the internal GUI. Then all you have to do is the redstone contacts to tell which floor you're on, some way to tell which floor you want to go to, and the redstone of which sequenced gearshift to power to take you to the right floor, if that's possible. I'd probably just make it move to a default spot and then between each floor, much easier than the alternative

Sequenced gearshifts can and will work like this, by the way. Putting them directly connecting most likely won't work

I think most magic mods add some sort of teleportation but it's usually not as straight forward as you described. HexCasting could allow you to teleport to custom coordinates but you have to design the spell your self and as far as I remember it cost more with greater distances
