Hi there! I'm having trouble finding a mod that suits me (or a way to configure the ones I know) I want to play with an immersive first person mod, so far I've tried:

(Neoforge 1.21.1)

-First-person Model: Better combat animations look weird as the body goes forward attacking and I end up looking at my backpack if I look a bit down
-Real Camera: The camera follows the head so the animations look good but it renders the helmet, I worn a hood from Iron spells and spellbooks and I was seeing the borders of the camera,This mod had another interface on 1.20.1 and I could configure the position better to avoid those things, but now I can't and If I want to bring the camera forward I have to do it with keybinds and the movement is too hard, one tick forward and I'm too far forward
-Immersive First Person (Not on cforge): The camera was a bit buggy when colliding front face with blocks, the camera went backwards to avoid clipping and then snaps back when the block is broken or I go back

If anyone knows an alternative mod or something I would be grateful, I couldn't find any more

Modder here,
1.21.10 and 1.21.11 are neighbor versions, that doesn’t mean the code is the same

for some version changes, some mods just work since the code they use wasn’t modified.
They do however need to allow the version to be used in the mod’s metadata.

But in great majority of cases, either Mojang changes the vanilla code which changes the libraries and modders need to update their code, or the mod loader API does, and the same thing has to be done.

1.21.10 is a small hotfix for the Copper Age update. 1.21.11 is Mounts Of Mayhem, adding MUCH content. Guaranteed code methods were changed. Unlikely the mod doesn’t use any

Hello! new to the server because im in real desperate need to find a good mod that allows me to light up the inside of a giant building, i have tried utilizing building wands to create invisible sources everywhere along the walls and roofs but all that does is give them a weird glow and not actually illuminate the hollow center of the build, Does any mod exist that add some sort of giant light source i could put in the roof and it would light the build akin to having the build be outside or similar?

Hello, I'm wanting to get into Minecraft modpacks but can't seem to find a good starting point. I looked at FTB Academy, but that's only on 1.12, and I'm looking for something more modern. Also tried Better Minecraft, but that was a little too close to Vanilla, at least at the start. Looking for a little more modded feel. I would also preferably enjoy an informative/in depth quest book that leads me through the pack as well.

TerraFirmaCraft 3 Hardrock has a solid quest book and guided experience, but has a rather…. Difficult learning curve.

Elaborate... I've played a couple mod packs before, so I understand the basis of early game, but never gotten into all the big tech mods or bosses or magic.

TerraFirmaCraft is a rather drastic change to early and mid game Minecraft.
No wood or stone tools.
Clay required before anything else.
Constant exploration required to discover ore veins (not vanilla style ore)
Frequent cave ins if not following systematic mining(uncommon too even if following)

• But other than all that drastic changes. Tfc hardrock 3 and 4 have a robust quest system and a well crafted recipe list that you can freely look through in jei

• For simplicity sake. An older modpack such as skyfactory 3 would give you plenty of hands on experience in a variety of mods, although while useful for guidance - the quest system is rather lacking.

TerraFirmaCraft 3 Hardrock has some rather difficult play. Not really combat oriented
Mostly exploration and multitasking

Super rewarding when you do make progress though. You really feel that you earned it

TerraFirmaGreg goes even further.
And makes life sucky with them amount of resources and crafting you need to do
