Modpacks that give you a slight amount of wiggle room and freedom to expand outside the scope of the pack while still being locked in for specific resource to resource progression is very fun.

We’re looking for shaders, cool lookin biomes, and some video recording helpers.

Preferably compatible with Create bc she vibes with that.

One specific thing she told me she wanted to have is something that would record scenes from a static position but also another thing recording her own POV at the same time. The result we’re going for with that is a “main shot” that’s just a static camera aimed at the home base, and viewport in the corner where you’d get to see the player’s perspective as they progress through the game and stuff.

The gameplay is very linear in how you progress, but the actual game that you experience will be different every time due to how vast the world is and the amount of exploring you will need to do

My personal recommendation is to create a world. Look around spawn for 5-10 mins and see if you like the geography for base building.
If you don’t- delete the world and. Make a new one.
The world is big and full of terror(realistic terror like bears)

Common popular bases are near oceans or rivers.

The thirst is easily manageable. Though you can infrequently get a zombie disease from drinking random water from the ground.
Only way to cleanse that debuff is a golden or silver carrot and apple.
Cheap to make but you might not always have the resources available.

Using the "Somewhat Tameable Spiders" mod via Sinitra Connector and Nyf's Spiders 2.0, I tried to make mountable spiders that could even ride on ceilings. However, the problem is that the player's hitbox doesn't rotate with the spider (and the hitboxes show that only the spider model rotates, not its hitbox), causing the character to suffocate in blocks when trying to climb onto the ceiling.
Are there any mods that can rotate the player's hitbox, or could anyone write a bridge between mods so that the player's hitbox rotates with the spider model? The model, not the hitbox?

2 More fantasy style: Mod in above screenshot is JJTTM it focused more on realism but doesn't support other new biomes so I am looking for stuff to make the world feel more fantasy.
3 Structure mods
3.1 Dungeons: Ify on what Dungeon mods would be good for this pack so taking recommendations
3.2 End structures: Looking for an end expansion that doesn't touch world gen and only adds structures and ores at max. JJHF is taking care of end terrain.
3.3 Nether structures: JJHF makes the nether HUGE so looking for stuff that matches that vibe.
3.4 Village overhaul: want it to be larger villages that still feel vanilla plus. How large? There are 10+ structures in the above screenshot including a village. Dont want to just replace small villages I want a mixture or smaller and larger. (will be using space structures)

There's a youtuber called forget labs that does a good bit of zombie hord videos, idk if he has the mods in the description or not as I ain't one for that stuff but in some of his vids his zombies spawn in large hordes, build and mine, and can see from farther distance, I think in one he had it to where sound would attract them too.

Trying to identify what mod caused my UI to change, I've disabled any likely culprits and don't seem to have any responsible datapacks.. nor did I add a UI mod on purpose so I'm just kind of confused what it looks like this. what it did was it would stop ticking entity crashes by fully freezing and basically stopping any entity that had an issue

the model would be there, but it would basically be cut off from everything. couldnt hit it, it wouldnt move, it wont be affected by blocks etc

a chat message would appear saying the entity was frozen and where it was frozen

and you could choose to delete it, let it continue running, or a third option i cant remember

all the biomes you will go adds more biomes than vanilla has orinally and none of them are flat. traditionally if you want a flat biome find a dessert or plains biome (vanilla), so what I saying is adding a biome mod reduces your chances of a flat biome
