So Making a pack and trying to avoid throwing in the kitchen sink.
The goal in a high fantasy kingdom building pack where the player will make a kingdom with friends. (Insert every player desire to make a medieval village but for modders).

So far I have my graphical base, animations and world gen that I may have gone overboard on.
I am not using ice and fire due to compatibility issue and the mods spaghetti code being extremely hard to work with or patch.
I have my main magic mod and addons in being mana and artifice.
I also have all my structure and mod reworks. Although haven't added many new structures.
Farmers delight is also in here as it fits the vibe pretty well.

Due to how much I am changing the list I can provide a slightly outdated on on request
Overall I have managed to land this pretty nice heavily modded yet still vanilla plus aesthetic if that makes sense.

Roots is a magic mod that focuses on Druidic themes of lush pockets of area that fairy inhabit.
Imo a kitchen sink pack is a modpack with a lot of mods that were just thrown together without a general play route in mind. Ergo, changing recipes to require completion (partially or fully) or parallel mods to accomplish progression in the pack is not kitchen sink but an experience.

If you are looking for some more primitive mods, check out PrimalCore.
And if you want to force players to create buildings, I’m not sure what version that Restrictions goes up to.

Im having a issue where one of my friends placed a commandblock in the end while trying to creating a teleporting doorway that takes you to a base in the end when the door is opened,
but he didn't put in the exact cords and so now whenever you approach the chunck in the end it teleports you back to the overlord instantly. Theres no way to approch the commandblock

How to add/remove mods in a modpack:

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.
2. Click the Add More Content button, IF this button is not there, see below before you continue.
3. Find the Mods, Resource Packs or Maps you wish to Install and click Install on them.
4. Wait for all the required mods to be downloaded.
5. Start the modpack.

How to Enable/Disable content management for modpacks:

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.
2. Click on the button next to the Play button.
3. Click on Profile Options.
4. Check the Allow content management for this profile option if you want to edit the content of the modpack, uncheck it to disable.

Hey folks, so I'm looking at cobbling together my own mod pack inspired by Valhelsia 5 for my own personal use. Looking through the mods that they used for V5 I've made a bit of a short list of 23, possibly 27 mods. But, I'm not sure if I need or want all of them or if they're mutually compatible with each other. Further I'm not sure if there aren't other mods that I do want. Further, further, there might be better mods than what I currently have my eye on for some things, and finally I'm worried if my computer would even be able to handle all of them running.

Looking for a horror mod. I want it to be non-repetitive, meaning it doesn't show itself ALL the time. I want to be able to play normally while also just feeling creeped out. are there ANY mods at all apart from distant horizons or voxy that work for 1.21.1 in multiplayer? the backport for voxy and voxy worldgen WORK but only in multiplayer and distant horizons is an unoptimised mess

Bedrock and Java are using different langagues and are coded completely differently. Mods are already dependant on the mod version, and generally cannot be run on another version - yet alone another game. You need an API or translator to do it, such as Geyser.

Town and Kingdoms 2 is a nice general purpose pack if you kinda want a variety of stuff to play around with (it’s fantasy + tech but I’d say more leans towards fantasy exploration)

It combines create with a bunch of other tech mods through kubejs stuff though so be aware that if you switch to any other modpack with create in it after, it’s probably gonna be a very different experience
