So I'm in a very big modpack (300+ mods) and I have issues with mob spawns. Not there's too many--in fact, it's quite the opposite. I'll go into caves and there'll be two, maybe three zombies in a huge cave. Or I'll be looking for animals and I'll only see a couple. Are there any mods that help with the mob spawning to balance them all out, especially when you have mods that add so many mobs?

A couple mods I have that add mobs are stuff like Caves and Caverns, Alex's Mobs, Critters and Companions, etc. Both hostile and passive mobs barely spawn, and they become even more rare when there's multiple players. Any suggestions?

Any Modders here need MOD ideas? I have a wonderful Idea from an old Mincraft Bukkit server plugin. Making Paths. It was configurable to the size and block used. For a fair comparison, I checked both sites and used the highest value found for each modloader. Either of 'em has tons of mods

if you know how to make a basic resource pack, you could extract the vanilla portal texture and just shift the hue of the image to what you want

Hiya. I'm working on my forge 1.20.1 modpack, and there are a couple specific features I need that I have no clue how to make.

First, I need a mod that makes it so that at least 1 of every biome spawns within a certain radius of spawn.

Second, I need a mod that makes it so certain structures only spawn in a specific area relative to spawn. exactly 1 of every structure needs to spawn inside the radius though.

Early game structures: 1000-2999 blocks out
Mid game structures: 3000-4999 blocks out
Late game structures: 5,000-8000 blocks out

I also need biome spread / biome spawning that is compatible with the Game Stages mod, so when the player reaches a certain stage, new biomes will take over their world at random.
Eg. when the player reaches a certain gamestage, a random lush cave the player explored might turn into the Frosted Caves from Yung's Cave Biomes.

I strongly recommend TerraFirmaCraft 3 Hardrock as a modpack to play with others.

It includes create, and heavily modifies how everything is craft as well as various other mechanics such as a “weight” function for heavy type blocks like anvils and mechanical drills. Making manually moving them fun to play with

Tinkers construct is a fairly straightforward mod to get into and somewhat complicated once you try to minmax the tools.
Basically almost every metal and stone can be made into a tool part that has different stats and effects based on the material it is made of.

There are several tinkers construct compatibility mods that allow tinkers to use metals and other materials from other mods such as Thermal (engineering?)

As for evolving. There are different kinds of simple stat gains. More mobs spawn. Difficulty as you travel from spawn.
Special mobs.

The hordes - zombie difficulty up and block breakers.
