3 full real life days of search just for a polar bear, and still couldn’t find any even with natures compass for biome searching

This said it was available for 1.12.2, and said I could craft polar bear spawn eggs with 1 egg and 3 snowballs, but when I tried it, it wouldn’t work

I believe there's a section in the Fallback config for BetterCombat that allows you to omit specific items through item IDs. minecraft:mace for example.
WeaponMaster (not to be confused with YDM's Weaponmaster) is an example of why that config is used. Their weapons are outright incompatible with BetterCombat.

Carry on does that. With villagers it’s a bit finicky.

But there’s another mod for villagers specifically: Villagers in a bucket. Or something along those words.

There’s also a Mod by Fuzs called Mob lasso. But with villagers you have to hope they can sign a contract to be moved.

Unless there's a mod that directly integrates Superb Warfare's weaponry and another NPCs mod? You're out of luck.

As for custom loot pools? That's... a bit easier.
Usually I try to sneak some items on some generic mobs if they don't have a item for that slot and make it a 100% drop chance.
You can find out how that works using NBT tags. Wiki or generators will help with that.

While you can adjust the NPC's loot table via a datapack? That would likely adjust the loot table for the entity entirely-- effecting all the NPCs.

Create doesn't have tin, so you're fine not doing anything (Create has Zinc that makes Brass, Tin and Copper makes Bronze, different alloys), if you're using a create addon that adds Tin you can just install Almost Unified and either disable one mod's tin ores in the mod's configs, or if the mod doesn't have configs to disable the ore, just replace it with stone and deepslate respectively with the Block Swap mod

In Minecraft Java, or specifically my modpack version, the normal text colour for enchanted books is yellow. However, in some structures added by mods, the text colour of enchanted books found inside the chests is blue. I cannot use these ones, they will not enchant anything.

This is an example of a normal book with no issue.

If your gonna use create you there is some create addon (I forgot the name) that adds some helpful stuff for enchanting but no new enchants or anything (unless you count the ability for things kind sharpness 10)

hey i have an issue with my modpack which has been haunting me forever

combat should be fun but it .. isnt

im currently using better combat which is such a snoozefest. you lit just hold left click and it autodoes the same combo over and over again for you

with basically 0 skill expression

then there's epic fight which is

amazing, beautiful, everything i could have ever wanted

but it's extremely buggy

causes crashes

its incompatible with quite literally fucking everything

epicfight is just a huge mess

so is there anything that's a good middle ground between the fun of epic fight and the compatibility of epic combat

Datapacks can edit dimensions.
The Overworld is a "dimension", so you can edit how it generates through that.
If you want to fix that, just... lower the depth of the world past the bedrock layer. Going Y -64 to Y -96 for instance.
