Java 21 is indeed usable for 1.20.1 servers, but it's not recommended

since Minecraft 1.20.1 uses Java 17

shader loader that works with forge latest create version for 1.20.1? optifine crashes (i already knew but tried it anyway). rubidium and oculus tell me that flywheel needs a different version of sodium (rubidium is sodium for forge) ive used shaders with create before but i dont remember how and it was probably a different version anyway

Delete Optifine, it's the worst mod you can add to a modpack, it's buggy, incompatible with everything and not that good at boosting the performance compared to the mods below
for Forge, use Embeddium to boost the performance, Oculus to use Shaders (requires Embeddium), Fusion (Connected Textures) for connected textures resource packs, Forge CIT for name dependent textures
for Fabric and NeoForge, use Sodium to boost the performance, Iris to use Shaders (requires Sodium), Continuity for connected textures resource packs, CIT resenew for name dependent textures
for all, Entity Model Features and Entity Texture Features for resource packs with custom entity models and texures
For older versions there's Angelica for 1.7.10 which also has shader support, and for 1.12.2 there's Relictium
to summarize, Optifine is never worth using anymore
