Itā€™s not even necessary and barely ever used in most packs so the only info online is the official wiki which could be improved by the FTB team. I really hope they do improve it to contain better detailed descriptions

Hello all! Im hoping someone can help me identify a modpack I played a good while back, but canā€™t remember the name. I hope thatā€™s acceptable here.

The main theme of the pack is the world is barren and covered it like dry cracked soil. You a put into a vault that has most of the tools to start rebuilding.

The vault is very large and mostly white blocks with a big door in the front that looks like itā€™s halfway open.
Only the entrance is above ground. When you enter the vault you go down a huge set of stairs into a circular room with three hallways branching off of it.

I know one of the hallways has a room full of shelves with barrels. Each barrel has seeds in it. Another room has a power room. Also, one room has a place where you can put these disk things that can contain almost their own dimension similar to hyper boxes.

The immediate area around the vault entrance has a little bit of moss but beyond that is just the dry dirt or whatever. If you explore a bit you will find cities with big buildings that have tons of mobs.

That is all the I remember from the pack. Hopefully someone has an idea. šŸ˜…

Minecraft Ram Usage Info

Minecraft handles ram differently then other games. Too little can have issues, but same goes for too much. As Minecraft will literally try to use all the ram you give it and try to shove it all through 1 cpu core.

Instead of speeding up the game, it slows down the cpus processing by trying to process all the ram, used or unused.
To see the recommended range use !mc-ram

hey everyone,
ive been looking for a modpack (i hope this is the right place to ask)
that has all the latest sodium modium optimization tools and whatnot, comes with shaders and preferably a stacked library of QoL mods that dont add any content to the game (so that my world could theoretically be played on vanilla minecraft)
i would prefer fabric as the modloader of choice but im not opposed to forge or other loaders
also distant horizons compatibility would be huge but not a dealbreaker

im sure something like this exists right? ive tried myself on creating a modpack, going with Fabulously Optimized as my base but i would always end up with compatability issues, despite making sure i only add content that should supposedly be comaptible with the minecraft version (i forgot to mention, i dont mind if its not the most up-to-date mc version)

another anology would be to say that modloaders determine the 'shape of an area' for mods to build in.
Ie a forge modloader would create a square shape for square mods, and a fabric modloader would create a rectangular shape for rectangular mods
