yeah, when you right click on a bed (which can be done at night or during the day) you can lay down, thats where you can press space to set spawn/sleep. Idk where it is in the files but I use it in any modpack I make because I like being able to do that

o.. it says "press pace bar to start sleeping" if space bar is pressed it also sets spawn, seems there's no option to sleep without setting spawn :/

Hey guys, I'm actually just starting minecraft. I've played other survival crafters, literally numerous of them, but have never gotten to getting into Minecraft vanilla. I'm looking for a content-rich modpack that makes the world more "populated" and dynamic with (if possible) NPCs that roam around (not just non-humanoid ones), even maybe pre-built towns or settlements, lotsa cool POIs (both populated and non-populated).

I've tried Mystic Horizons and Prominence, but strangely enough I'm getting extremely bad performance with the shaders on (shaders off gives me about 500-600 FPS, shaders on about 30-50FPS) despite trying numerous "optimizations" like installing a custom Java, etc.

Would appreciate some suggestions from you guys!

• GPU (AMD specifically has issues)
• Is the correct GPU used
• Does the system have enough ram
• Is the correct amount of RAM allocated without going over excessively
• Are other things running in the background leading to lack of RAM
• Mods used
• Shaders
• View distance too high
• CPU core speed too low

The list intentionally ambiguous. There is no way to figure out what specifically causes your FPS issues, if there actually are any. Low FPS could simply be a result of the mods chosen in which you would need to trial & error out which are affecting it.

trying to find a mod that makes it so that stealing stuff in a village is somewhat like an elder scrolls game - you steal something and they become hostile if they see you do it. this would preferably mean they would flee from you like you're a hostile mob except for golems and (if installed) guard villagers which would target you. i do not know if such a mod exists, but i've poked around a lot.

is it just me or Biomes o Plenty is often EXTREMELY memory hungry?
I often have 100% allocated memory always in my modpack (Allocated 8gb ram, and it often uses a bit more than what i limited it to) no matter the situation i am in, i have once removed a 80mb mod (Ambient Sounds 6) and i was still at 100% allocated memory, but the moment i removed biomes o plenty (and keep in mind none of the times i tested i was in a biomes o plenty biome) my allocated memory went to 87% and the game was never smooth as now.

More columns in cas by Weerbesu will help, it's not on curseforge so you'll need to get that from his website. It allows you to see more cas options on screen at the same time.

Otherwise just browse the cf app or website for clothes, hair, make up etc. If you're after a very realistic look (also called alpha) then The Sims Resource is a good place to check.

If you are looking for an already finished way to make it, I suggest downloading Create: Netherless. If you just want to change them yourself, I would suggest KubeJS
