Automation in general? There is a mod called Create. You can use it to automatically craft anything. I used it to create a food factory for a modded server I was in a while ago.

Refined Storage - Makes it so you can create a digital network and store all your items in "drives". Just make some solar panels or a power system (Powah is good for that) and you'll have a one-block "infinite" storage! There's also Applied Energetics if you want it to be a bit tougher (iirc).
Powah - Good for cheap solar panels! :)
YUNG's Structures are fun in general. Adds some custom structures to your world.
Easy Villagers - Makes trading very easy and you can have villagers be stuck in cubes, allowing you to automate trades!
Biomes O' Plenty - Lots of new terrains and decorative blocks & trees!
Corpse - Allows you to die and find your stuff without it despawning! Also leaves behind a replica of your player model as a cadaver.
Improvable Skills - You can spend XP to increase some stats, including fishing luck, swimming faster, jumping higher, and even making furnaces cook faster! There are also skills to be discovered by adventuring and killing mobs.
Alex's Mobs - Adds a bunch of new mobs to the game :)
Blue Skies - Adds two dimensions that are fun to explore and also includes lots of boss fights! If you're familiar with The Twilight Forest, it's kinda like that!
Carry On - Makes it easy to move full container blocks (like chests) and even mobs!
Quark - Now you can have dark-oak chests and bookshelves, plus vertical slabs! Lots of other stuff too just to make it feel a bit Vanilla+.
There's a bunch of Create Addons, so I'd check out those too. They're very fun to mess around with.

I will say that if you have friends that want to make giant builds and are interested in making said builds far from others, I'd get the Steam n' Rails addon for Create. Create had an update that added trains, the Steam n' Rails addon adds some new stuff to make the trains have a nicer appearance and run automatically with conductors.

Looking for a modpack for me and my friend. Okay so for me the modpack can be any version and can be kitchen sink or expert and i can run even 300 mods at the same time with 30-25 fps so not too bad ( ofc if the mod is optimized if not then like every mod it affects perfomance ) but well my friend want's it to be kitchen sink ( something Semi-Expert can also be good i think so ) sadly my friend barely agred on 1.12.2 mods but after some talking he agreed onto 1.12.2 - newest version modpacks and also his pc is worse than mine and he can run around 150 mods at the same time with 30-25 fps. So what are your suggestions

There is SevTech Ages. It's a fun progressive modpack where you start off in the "stone age" and as you continue playing, you unlock recipes and are able to see more in the world. They have a skyblock version called SevTech: Ages of the Sky.

I don't know very many of the modpacks. I did enjoy Compact Claustrophobia. But just about all pack will have some magic or deco mods. Try searching the CF launcher by filtering for tech, then rule out the ones that have stuff you don't want. Even then you'll have to try one or three before you find the right one you are looking for.

There was a mod I was looking for that I couldn't find, it was a mod in which you could place what looked like pressure plates and then sneak and it would shrink you down and you could build small structures, using normal blocks but it would shrink you down into the pressure plate basically, so you'd be a size where it would be the floor, and it was interesting cause you could also like basically build farms and other stuff in these small blocks, everything worked in them.

Hi, I'm looking for a mod or a system that isn't going to require a university degree in coding.

What I hope to achieve with this mod or system is to allow me to lock certain mods behind achievements and/or specific requirements.

Like for example:

Players earn "Knowledge Points" which they can use to progress down a configurable skill tree, that unlocks access to a mod within a modpack.
The goal is to be able to gate powerful mods and items from specific mods, behind certain conditions.

A player gets the achievement "[Acquire Diamonds]" and earns 1 Knowledge Point There would then be several paths that they can then progress to unlock the ability to use or craft items from the associated mod, or if it is even possible; unlock dimensions, depending on what they wish to unlock may require more or less Knowledge Points.

Go to My Modpacks, select the profile of the Crazy Craft modpack, and you'll see a screen like this (using SevTech Ages as a reference)

Click the three vertical dots and click "Open Folder"

It'll open a folder with a bunch of folders inside. Go to "mods"

You can then delete the GeckoLib .jar file and drag-and-drop the newest GeckoLib.jar file.

You can get that by either looking it up online and downloading it, or by doing this:
My Modpacks -> Create (it'll be above the profiles with a "+" by it) -> Add a random profile name and set the minecraft version to your modpack's version & modloader (fabric, forge, etc)
Then open up the Profile when its done setting up and click "Add More Content".
Then just look up GeckoLib and click "Install". It should install the newest version.

Then repeat this on the new profile to find the Library mod and drag GeckoLib from this folder to the new one.

It's easiest to just download it online, but this is the safest way to make sure you're downloading the right file.

That being said, GeckoLib should be the first thing on any search engine when looking up "GeckoLib minecraft"

There is a mod that adds a new health system for taking damage and using bandages called First Aid, and a mod with a couple hundred downloads called Injuries & Fractures which takes that idea up a notch, but it could be malware. The comments don't seem to be fake tho, so it could be worth a shot.

Hello, is there a mod or tutorial available that explains how to add a slot similar to the one in the screenshot for the "Elytra Slot Mod," but for backpacks?
