yeah, if you have cheats on you should be able to just set your gamemode to creative, spawn him, then set back to survival and do the fight

you'd use /gamemode [username] creative and then /gamemode [username] survival in chat

if you try and it won't let you do that you probably have cheats off, in which case you'll have to go to the settings of your server/realm/whatever you're playing on to turn them on and then try again
