Oculus is one option, but it only goes up to 1.20.1 as that is the current stable version for the 1.20.x versions. Optifine might but is not recommended for mc 1.16+ for modded

1.20.2-.4 isnt exactly stable for modded atm either. Still too new

I'm looking for a mod that makes the crafting/smithing mechanic of tools and weapons in Minecraft a bit more realistic. The closest I came to was VoxelSmith, a datapack. I think that mod is perfect for my needs but it's still lacks many features and compatibility because it's still new.

Are there any alternatives that can replace VoxelSmith? I don't really like how Tinker's Construct crafts their tools & weapons. They're all done inside a cast which isn't realistic. You don't make swords by pouring hot metal into a cast in real life, you do it manually by hand on an anvil with a hammer. Molten Metal (mod) has a pretty cool and hands on weapon hammering mechanic. But the mod still uses casts as a way to create tools & weapons which I don't like.

Ironically, the alloy forging and smelting part of Minecraft is perfect and there's abundance mods that captures the perfect balance between realism and game mechanic. There are mods like Alloy Forgery, Salty's Realistic Forging, Terrafirmacraft, and even datapacks like Lithic has a realistic, hands on metal forging/smelting mechanic. But all these mods starts falling behind when they get to the weapon & tools crafting mechanic.

So this is weird lmao, I dunno if I'm going insane or not. I'm missing an item?? Or possibly a whole mod idk. The item is a rectangular ceiling light that sorta looked like three light poles in a grey casing, that you right click to turn on, and the longer side is on the horizontal axis. It sits in the middle on one block. I'm so sure it's from Simply Light (or maybe MrCrayfish's furniture mod?), but it's not there, and it's not in any of the other mods I'm using at the mo. I'm so confused lmao I have no idea where it's gone. Anyone know what mod it's from?

you can't. CF exports contain a manifest.json with the fileIDs and projectIDs

and a modlist.html with links to the mods

you would have to install the pack then move the mods

If you want some unique customizable armor sets, I’d suggest enchantment mods like Apotheosis and Modular Armory for armors with custom material pieces, stat benefits, and general variety.

Is anybody here experienced with Iron’s Spellbooks, Mana and Artifice, and Ars Noveau?

I’m trying to decide which I should cut, since I feel one may stand out more than the others with both it’s potential and capabilities.

Ars seems to have the highest quality while Mana and Artifice has the most Quantity but lowest Quality.

I’m still confused as to if Iron’s Spellbooks even has any spell customization, let alone redstone capabilities.

ok so im looking for a specific skyblock modpack, i played it back in 2022, it was popular at the time (i belive it was a featered modpack) and it had lots of tech based modpacks, it had a quest book that had multiple tech, create, and magic sections for specific modpacks, it may have been intended for beginners, as it was lots of guides through modpacks, but i loved the shit out of it and i hope someone knows what im talking about

i remember there being a lobby island, which was a large pirate ship(?) and there was a portal in the captins quarters where you could walk through to create a new island
