idk if this helps but there's a create addon mod called "create crafts and additions" and it has a pretty good way of converting create rotation to forge energy and vice versa using an alternator or motor. and then you can use cables to transport the energy further.
Or you could simply use whatever energy transport system you have but use alternators and motors to convert back and forth

Yeah the issue is that the code MC and modloaders use changes faster in new versions popping up than a casual modding groups can keep up with, so it's counter productive to rewrite complicated mods every update

Like it's really difficult in the start but playable and later in the endgame you are able to fight back a bit after leveling skills and getting good armor

Anyone knows what mod lets me choose which of these slots to display on my character? For some reason it's not built in the Cosmetic Armor Reworked. For example I want my Straw hat to be displayed, instead of it glitching with my iron helmet.

well there are shader packs you can use to increase fog density for overal vibe and set the minimum illumination for nights to 0 to get pitchdark nights

then ofcourse the sanity mod and from the fog (set the sighting chance to rare- you'll thank me later, or not), sounds physics, cave dust, ruins/abandoned villages you can use the physics mods pro for weather effects n' other stuff you fancy to ass to the atmosphere, personally wintery themes from mods such as primal winter or snowy for multiple reasons: because it can be both cozy and eerie to see nothing out in a midnight blizzard.
To add you can use a 16x16 medieval resource pack to keep it in the minecraft style but makes stuff more gritty in general, (Then with stuff like tizu's zombie pack, fresh animations, whatever floats your boat.)

you can add monsters n' such but i personally like on harnessing the fact of being alone in your world but losing sanity the longer you play- you can enhance this by adding some survival elements to keep you on your toes like coldsweat/thirst was taken (if you want to use create it has compatibility).

then to atleast have a way to calm yourself down- have stuff like farmers delight and consentrate on bein a farmer while in the back of your mind.

but these are general suggestions i can give as advice

another advice is to use sinytra connector if you are on forge-
gives you access to some fabric mods that are not available on forge- mix and match, see what works, what is compatible and what crashes.

what are you using, fabric or forge? they both have a bunch of wonderful youtube tutorials

but to answer quickly, fabric uses Iris and forge uses Oculus- (you can use optifine for forge but i really recomend looking for alternatives.)

probably going to remove vectorian since that better fits the bare bones vibes that i was using a bit ago- but now that i am going for a winter survival pack i will see what i can keep or not-

ad astra is fun i like the easthetics and i do think it will be fun a fun progression, better end also gives more challange (especially with remastered enderdragon fight datapack/mod). Better nether i aint too sure but amplified nether combines with better nether should make it funky.
