I am obviously not gonna download any mods rn, but I wanna prepare for when it’s clear

I’m looking for world building, visual, cosmetic, building decor, modern, potentially roleplay mods for my pack made for a world (the world is a school campus if that helps). I like mods that add cool stuff like I have one that adds a camera and one that adds painting, other activities like that for a school or whatnot would be cool. I also need more unique decor. I also really like subtle mods that just brings the world to life, like dynamic surroundings, better foliage, I got like a selfie camera mod, I made a mod actually with a customizable HUD that can show days of the week (each day in minecraft is a different day of the week) and time, weather etc. Also maybe resource packs but I’m not looking for typical texture overhauls. I want my world to be super alive. I’m looking for mods I haven’t downloaded yet, so I’ll give my mod list tomorrow.

Yeah, because I use quite a bit of mods (Some I manually download) I would have issues where my frames would be normal at first (My Normal frames are usually 60 FPS) but then for some reason, it would drop right down to 0 for a second or 2, go back up to 60 FPS, and then repeat the process

Texture LOD
Out of sight, out of Render
Bigger&Faster commands

Texture LOD: where textures at the edge of your render distance are lower quality than the textures i front of you, e.g within 50 blocks, the texture is 32x another 50 blocks the texture is 16x etc until the edge of your render has been reached

Out of sight Out of Render: where stuff thats not within veiw is not rendered to the full level. E.g caves would not render fully if your on the surface, and vice versa, also, stuff on the other side of a hill, mountain or forest would not render fully. Similar to the entity rendering mod parrot used in his 100,000 cakes video, but for everything.

Bigger&Faster commands: Where commands are run at a set rate comapared to what your computer can manage. E.g I could fill a 10 millin block cube using world edit, it might take 10 minutes, but my game would continue to run smoothly at 30 FPS allowing me to do other stuff while it Runs.

Essential works as long all members have the mods and the essentials mod

it works like a LAN, but just without the need of being in the same network, i am not too keen on it either but so far i haven't seen people complain about it or have seen any malicious content.

only thing is the cosmetics there that do have microtransactions to maintain the development of the mod, it isn't required to buy anything to use it but its there.

i stay on the neutral with a slight favour towards Squizzle, it is a very convient mod that allows you to pretty much host a personal server without the hassle that Aternos provides or having to pay out of pocket for a dedicated server. But as Squizzle says i do find it hard to believe there isn't something fishy going on in the background which is why i keep my eye on their discord

It's pretty easy to set up a server on a home PC alongside the client being run for one of the users. I actually made a script that can utilize UPNP to do the port forwarding if a router supports it 🙃

Optifine doesn't work well with a lot of mods, it could be that you need to find an alternative to optifine that's compatible with the mods you want to use.

I've heard Rubidium and Sodium mentioned as optifine alternatives but know nothing about them beyond the names.
