I need this mod so I can handle a bug that persists everywhere in every modpack, but no one notices it. simple leaves decaying from too big modded trees. saplings and sticks are flooding the world making server lag.

well not quite - we discussed the 'get it together drops' mod. you could also use that and set the config file to clump together the items for x set distance apart.

and items like that are only loaded in loaded chunks - if the chunk unloads they no longer are a strain

this mod can't clump only one or various type of items, it combines all of them, even the ones that is not needed to clump. for example, the ones that player might drop to another player. if there's already item somewhere, it'll stack with it, and no one will ever know where did it go.

mod to kill entities every once and a while? my server is lagging now with players getting 50 fps in the town. only lately has literally 6000 ENTITIES appeared here and its really lagging us. before we got 159 fps (my limit is 160) so yeah i really need a mod to kill things or cull entities or make entities lag less OR make them despawn. i need it for 1.19.2 fabric

Hey, so Im looking for a kinda specific modpack, doesnt matter if its fabric or forge. It just needs to work with Optifine or the Sodium, etc.

Version 1.16.5, not higher since my PC can't handle higher versions.

Pandemic runners zombies are worse. They can spawn faster than a player sprinting with a speed potion. Can see or hear from up to 300 blocks away. Can climb. And can spawn with gear up to enchanted netherite

I know, it sucks that most people have settled on 1.19.2, but blame Mojang because they started releasing breaking changes in bugfix versions of Minecraft

It used to be that whenever Mojang did a minor update (like 1.18.0 to 1.18.1) no major code was affected at all, only bugfixes were done and they didn't do any 'breaking changes'. But now they've started doing major breaking changes between minor versions, meaning that updating mods between those is more time consuming. Changes in 1.19.3 were large enough to make updating mods more difficult, which is why so many authors have stuck with 1.19.2

hi there. looking for a way to manage all the features that various mods add in different biomes and dimensions. I have one dimension where Botania and Ars Nouveau puts their goddamn flora. it's ruining the whole atmosphere in the dimension, and I want to find a fix or at least a workaround for it.

edit: there's no configuration for generating things inside the Ars Nouveau and Botania configs. they also don't support datapacks, there's no required tags for it.

I'm pretty sure that mod BiomeTweaker can do the work perfectly, but the author decided for some unbelievable reason jump from 1.12.2 to 1.18.2 and skip the most popular 1.16.5 version.

it is, it is. there are so many mods that are putting their things into random biomes and dimensions. I mean, ok, do as you wish, but AT LEAST make it CONFIGURABLE.

Nothing that cleans up after removed mods afaik. Different mods may be added things in different ways, so probably no one way to thoroughly go about it.

Making a complete backup in case things go bad, removing mods, editing DAT files if necessary etc is how it usually gets done if at all
