Mostly I need more enemies to spawn at night, the night time is pretty dull with only like 5 enemies spawning

Anyone had the issue that in Immersive Engineering the Core Sample drill wont work? The animation of the Squeezer and the Engineering Workbench and the Automated EW gui is broken too. Yet only on the server, on singleplayer it works.
It must be either a mod combination or a server overload, since it works with only IE installed on server and client. Any idea helps before i try out every 238 mods. xD

there are some web tools available out there, looking at other people's worldgen datapacks of the same MC version is great, also you can find the default Minecraft worldgen files online, and there are lots of people who make youtube vids

Lifesaver. My 250 modpack was suffering from entity spam. Especially in the oceans. The commands are a bit confusing but trial and error made it work.
Im stupid it worked.
Denies 70% of crabs:

Depends on your definition of nuke possibly. Industrial Foregoing has 'infinity nukes' and is on modern versions. In Draconic Evolution if you use a draconic reactor uhh irresponsibility it goes thermonuclear.

There is a mod for Forge that cause food to rot into rotten flesh, but that one is super weird when an apple does it. I can't find anything like it for Fabric, or an alternate implementation.

Basically, the goal is to make any form of AFK play completely non-functional by penalty of character death.

Incidentally, a mod that makes it so mobs drop nothing unless their death was caused directly by a player interaction, like a weapon strike, would be nice.

Hardcore Torches makes it so (vanilla) fire based lights burn out after a while and in rain. Good luck maintaining your torch spam mine complex.

Spoiled makes it so all edible items turn into rotten flesh after about 1 in game day. Some foods last longer, but nothing makes it to the second day. Really forces you to plan when you go hunting/foraging/farming and prevents food hoarding.

Better combat changes attack animations and bases damage off of collision rules with the weapon, which honestly makes combat in general WAY harder but also more realistic. Coupling it with first person model almost makes it feel like VR.

Cannot Build Over Lava Source Blocks does as it says, you can't destroy lava sources by filling them in.

True Darkness makes it so the absence of light means 0 color, complete and utter darkness. Coupled with hardcore torches, this one is murder.

Nyf's Spiders allows spiders to path correctly on walls, so they don't get stuck on ceilings and ledges any more.

More Babies adds little fast-moving versions of most mobs... including creepers. Hate baby zombies for how fast and small they are? Just wait.

Dangerous Stone Cutter makes stepping on a table saw hurt. Who'd guess?

Ignition makes (vanilla) fire based light sources start fires in the same way as lava. Don't put a Torch on a wooden wall!

For Fabric...

BE Style Wither makes the Wither way rougher.

Dehydration works better than the forge equivalents. It adds Thirst. If you dehydrate, you die.

Enhanced Visuals covers your screen with blood spatter when you get hit. As your hearts drop, your vision goes blurry and wobbly and you start to block out.

Herds Panic combined with Neutral animals makes literally everything in the game attack you if you hit something. Annoyed with a villager and punch them in the nose? The entire village will return the favor, and so will some wild animals too.

Realistic Fire Spread makes it so mobs set stuff on fire if they're on fire! Better hope that burning zombie doesn't seek refuge under your wooden awning!

This Rocks! adds exactly that. The small stones match the local biome, so you get sandstone rocks in deserts for example. It also adds shells and starfish to beaches, and pinecones to anywhere with spruce trees.

I want to control the village spawn rates within the ATMS modpack. Do I need to import a mod to control the rates? The version is 1.16.5

I want to do this because I need all the structures to spawn less often, including modded ones which I've already taken care of.

@tame heath When I used my laptop, I would play the Crucial 2 modpack.
If you like exploration or block building, I would recommend this to you. There are also more achievements and more dungeons.
It's also a good introduction to modpacks if you're new to this.
One criticism I do have is that the pack tries to appeal to everybody at once, so there's no clear goal with this. You just play.

Modern Skyland Lite was another one that I played, although not as much. This pack has a LOT more stuff to do but unlike Crucial 2, it's set in a Skyblock world. Also has more magic than Crucial 2.

Both should use around 2 GB of memory.
