I'm not sure if it's updated or not (haven't used it in years), but the Tekkit modpack used to be pretty popular and even had its own launcher. Also, like bl4ckscor3 said, anything from ftb (esp. ftb-academy) is good. Good luck! 🙂

(you put it under the default minecraft textures and its pretty much like fullbright)
infact, maybe you could take out what ever makes it like it is and put it in a normal texturepack

I've found a couple mod packs I like, but the two I'm most interested in lack something I want that the other has and/or have things in them I don't want. When I've tried disabling a mod I get errors. The two modpacks in question are MC Eternal Lite and Roguelike Adventure & Dungeons TiC Edition.

Editing packs you didnt make is always a bad idea, plus noone can really help you trouble shoot it. It is 1000% better to make a pack from scratch

Welcome to pack making, good packs take time, half assed ones dont but are more likely to fail. Anyways if you need help with a pack issue use the Proper support rooms. This room is for looking for projects/ mods/ packs / etc. Not a support room

inside of your .minecraft directory after loading the mod you should see a config folder and inside of there, there should be configuration for the mod/addons

generally the easiest way to get to your current Minecraft directory is by pressing Esc in-game then going to Resource Packs then clicking the Open Resource Packs Folder then from there locate through the directory

not many people know about it; the description says exactly what the mod does; the github is not empty, it contains the whole source of the mod; why does the last-updated date matter? the mod does not need an update. i use it myself and it works just fine.
i don't know of any other similar mods

'glaring gap'? Mods are made by individuals voluntarily. There's no central mod organization.

Check out "open parties and claims" mod. It integrates with Xaeros world and minimaps. It's a bit of a steep learning curve with precious little wiki so far though.

Or are you talking about global game rules etc

There was one lag spike I had that was so bad that there was a horrible delay when I tried to press ESCAPE to bring up the main menu and vice versa to get back into the game.

I don't have Create in my modpack. Just a lot of my other favorite mods and stuff to experiment with. I gotta tell ya for a pack rat like me the combination of Simple Storage Network and Sophisticated Storage is a God send!

I'm trying to find mods that are like the mods I linked in this message. I want a grindy progression type mod with stats/skills that make u stronger based on something like Bleach which is something I linked. I do not want a mod that has skills/stats alone or an anime mod that just gives u weapons and stuff they have to be together and mad for eachother. maybe a mod with different races you can choose or become by accident or have to become when ur playing the game that do different things and there's bosses and different routes and stuff if that makes sense.

🤔 industrial foregoing does not introduce new worldgen and has a bunch of single block generators I believe. If you'd allow mods that have additional ores there are lots of options such as the thermal series and bigger reactors for starters
