I need some help. There is this one user that keeps posting a youtube video link to my project comments, and that video description contains a link to malware/virus.
I've reported that user and the comments multiple times, but nothing has happened.
Then I made the mistake of ignoring that user, and apparently that just means that I don't see any of their comments anymore, but everyone else still sees them in my project comments. And this means that now I can't even go and delete the malware video comments, and I can't find an un-ignore button anywhere. The ignore button was in the dropdown menu of the username in the comment, but obviously I can't see that anymore...

Okay, fixed the locked files... Now I'm back to my original problem. I've been trying to make a mod pack and after I download a new mod, no matter which one it is, the app crashes. I restart it and then sometimes it hangs on trying to find my game instances. So I force quit it and restart until it works. Then I go back to making the mod pack and it crashes again. These are the logs starting with when I just restarted my computer. The app started fine at first, until I downloaded a mod, then it crashed. In some profiles it shows the mods as having available updates, and others it shows them as being up to date

Im on a Mac latest version and its 64 bit
So the app has been constantly crashing with that and BEFORE you tell me to go to the help sections I HAVE I have tried so many different fixes this happens with a vpn on without a vpn on ive tried the dns things ive tried removing all traces of minecraft and curseforge from my computer along with java as well and then reinstalling literally everything, etc etc and nothing has fixed this and I have no idea what I could possiblly be the problem at this point

my minecraft forge 41.0.63 wont load, after the launcher finishes loading and goes to that red mojang loading screen, it will crash immediately, is there a bug on 41.0.63? I actually downgraded from the latest version (41.0.91) but apprantly it's a bit unstable, when mining certain blocks the game will crash example of blocks are fences iron bar and brewing (few that I've tested)

Fabric = Fabric MC, this is another modloader, just called "Fabric".
CurseForge = A Website/App that has content for games.

There are two ways to share a modpack you've made with others...

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

Up until Saturday CurseForge opened without an issue, now it won't open. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both CurseForge and Overwolf multiple times and did as an administrator as well. It still won't open. Overwolf pops up into my tray but nothing from CurseForge and nothing works.

Tried doing it the regular way by searching it within the curseforge launcher, and also tried downloading it as a zip from the curse website and adding it to the curse launcher as a new instance, and neither works
(When adding it via zip it just says "Invalid File" in a red popup at the bottom of the launcher)```

well speaking of which, I'm trying to create a new 1.18.2 forge profile, but when it begins to apply the fourth patch out of 6, the fourth patch never gets applied. I then closed out and tried to do it again but now when it tries to apply the fourth patch it says "Modloader installation failed." I tried this again without installing any mods to the profile and it still isn't working.

And I just created a 1.16.5 profile perfectly fine so I think there's an issue with 1.18.2 profiles.

knowing its java, you make sure to have uninstalled it through the windows uninstaller, then google minecraft download and go to minecraft.net to make sure its the correct source, download the launcher

im on mac and sometimes when i launched mc with forge it was bugged like i had to double click buttons and my mouse was showing up ingame, covering the crosshair and such
however this could be easily fixed when restarting mc but now it happens whenever i launch it

ive downloaded like 30-40 maps and put them in the saves folder when mc was already launched, that was my last launch before having this problem

sometimes with older versions of minecraft if they are fullscreen or even if they arnt the game wont let you swap programs and can cause that kind of error

its super annoying and really you just have to be a bit careful with the mac because its dumb and not made for gaming

yeah I cant explain it either but that is actually why that happens to me sometimes because mac has a habit of auto switching programs and it does the same thing as command tab theres like no reason it should do it and its annoying so all you can do is make sure you are focused on the minecraft client or litterally any game when you launch it

soo.. I noticed for this few days. I can already play MC All the mod 7. but everytime I launch it through curseforge.. Mc updater window keep popping out. then I have to update MC launcher.. it downloading update files and everything... it can takes hours.. like few hours.. Is this normal?

not sure what to say but i cant seem to get minecraft to load, i get to the main menu from curseforge then i get a second of mojang splashscreen and it closes. the logs seem to point to errors with a mod (although i dont really know what im looking at) but i havent changed any and i \had this profile working earlier today.

it should be said ive tried any and all fixes above apart from running through each iindividual mod

I have created a minecraft modpack for my friends, and exported it for them to import. I've since updated some of the mods in the modpack, and exported it as say version 1.1.0.
What's the best way for them to import, or update to the latest version? It seems if they import it creates a new profile, which isn't ideal

I haven't been able to find any recent accurate information online on how to do this, and I haven't seen anywhere in the project or files settings that mentions server files being something separate. Serverpacks are special files uploaded alongside an existing project file. If the main file is rejected the server pack is also rejected.

You require an already uploaded export file to upload a server pack!

1. Make the server pack by zipping up the required files by selecting the required folders & files. It should include the config and mod folders at a minimum, plus anything else you specifically required to run the server. Start/Run/Setup scripts are optional. Don't include modloader files or the minecraft server jar.
2. Go to the Files tab on the project.
3. Click the name of the file you wish to upload the server pack to. The pack and server should match pack versions.
4. Click Upload Additional File.
5. Fill out the form.
