There are two ways to share a modpack you've made with others...

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

• Projects MUST be APPROVED

• Projects CAN'T be EXPERIMENTAL
• Projects CAN'T be ABANDONED

Files can take a while to show up in the app. If your files still have not shown up either your project is new and you have yet to mark a file as Release/Beta or there is issues with the sync system making it slow.

Hi,

I am trying to install forge for a minecraft server and whenever I open up the installer this keeps popping up. I tried to uninstall and reinstall both minecraft and java and it still doesn't fix it. I tried using older versions of java and that didn't work. I tried to use the java development kit thing and that didn't work. I also tried using windows powershell and cmd and it still doesnt work. I also tried to use a .bat file to run it and it still doesn't work. I could not for the life of me find a solution on the internet. Could someone please help me, that would be great.

WebClient errors are from networking issues to your computer. You can try a few things to fix it:

1. Restart the computer.
2. Restart your router/modem.
3. Try another internet source like a hotspot, wired connection or moving closer to the WiFi.

5. If this still doesn't work, try again in an hour and hope your connection is stable.

How to add/remove mods in a modpack.

2. Click the Add More Content button, IF this button is not there, see below before continuing.
3. Find the Mods, Resource Packs or Maps you wish to Install and click Install on them.

5. Start the modpack.

How to Enable/Disable content management for modpacks.

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.

3. Click on Profile Options.
4. Check the Allow content management for this profile option if you want to edit the content of the modpack, uncheck it to disable.

NOTE: The Allow content management for this profile option is what allows you to Delete, Disable, Update or Install any Mods, Resource Packs or Maps managed by CurseForge. It must be on to modify any of them! (Currently)

No, the issue was the requirements of forge itself.
It caused too many support requests and other problems of people not understanding what changing java did.

The client cannot open https://curseforge.overwolf.com/downloads/client-overrides-v1.json and tries to connect to an unavailable port e.g. 127.0.0.1:60001, this could be a forced update from the client or something, this is the reason why the client is stuck.

However, this file I can open through my browser, so it should not be a problem with my network, you may need to re-adapt the macos client.

Hello, So I have this issue where I have a game installed (Stardew Valley) but it doesn't want to "register" in curseforge. I've tried locating the game by scanning both of my hard drives which didn't work and I also tried to manually add it but it said "This is an invalid directory or unsupported game". I have it installed on steam and I can see the Stardew Valley.exe in the local files so I don't reall know the issue. Can somebody help?

For a mod to show up in the app:

• Projects MUST have a file marked as RELEASE or BETA
• Projects MUST be APPROVED
• Projects MUST have a file marked for the GAME VERSION SELECTED/LOADED
• Projects CAN'T be EXPERIMENTAL
• Projects CAN'T be ABANDONED

Files can take a while to show up in the app. If your files still have not shown up either your project is new and you have yet to mark a file as Release/Beta or there is issues with the sync system making it slow.

run through the minecraft default launcher not through curseforge. install minecraft then forge into that. then drag and drop the modpack files into the instance folder. it seems to be an occasional issue between macs and curseforge not getting along XD

How to install mods in CurseForge App.

1. Click + Create Custom Profile
2. Name it, select the required Minecraft version, select the Forge version (usually the highest number), click Create.
3. Click the profile icon.
4. Click Add More Content
5. Search and install the desired mods.
6. Start the game!

How to install mods not on CurseForge.

1. Right click the profile picture or Open the profile and click the Icon next to the play button.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Drag the mod(s) into the mods folder. (Note: Some mods will require others, to run. Make sure to read the instructions for the mod!)
4. Start the game!

Find the file called debug.log OR latest.log and drag it into discord.
