I am not to sure if i am posting this in the correct chat but I am having trouble with the curseforge launcher not showing any of the mods that are installed onto modpacks that I have made and modpacks that others have made is well
I have tried reinstalling to launcher and repairing the folders as well as restarting my pc and internet but that has not worked
When ever i try to change or add a mod at all i keep getting
( An error has occurred. Please check your connection and try again )
And this is getting to annoy me a bit because i am trying to make a modpack so me and some friends can play

How to add/remove mods in a modpack.

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.
2. Click the Add More Content button, IF this button is not there, see below before continuing.
3. Find the Mods, Resource Packs or Maps you wish to Install and click Install on them.
4. Wait for all the required mods to be downloaded.
5. Start the modpack.

How to Enable/Disable content management for modpacks.

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.
2. Click on the button next to the Play button.
3. Click on Profile Options.
4. Check the Allow content management for this profile option if you want to edit the content of the modpack, uncheck it to disable.

NOTE: The Allow content management for this profile option is what allows you to Delete, Disable, Update or Install any Mods, Resource Packs or Maps managed by CurseForge. It must be on to modify any of them! (Currently)

Good Morning everyone. I have been looking on google and now in the stickied posts and the known issues site, but have so far not seen an answer to my question/problem. This has been going on for some time now, over a year at least. For WoW Classic addons, when I go to the curseforge website and find a mod, clicking install using the app opens the curseforge app but does not install the addon. I have reinstalled the app twice. Additionally when I search the curseforge app for addons I see on the website, many times they do not appear in the list as available to install. An few examples are the Omen threat meter and the Cartographer map mod.

Installing from the site doesn't work for most things.
My only guess would be the addons you are trying to install are not for whatever version of WoW you have.

There are two ways to share a modpack you've made with others...

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

Can try sending your log to their issue tracker, they would have a better guess at what is causing the crash. I do see a post on it with a temp fix but I dont always trust renaming mods

I have a problem whenever I open minecraft modpacks on my pc i always low fps like less than 10 fps in fullscreen mode, my computer doesnt even suck i usually get around 120 fps by just playing regular vanilla.

No idea, Easiest fix is to reinstall the pack, you added to a pre-made so we wont really know what you added, removed or changed. Or what works or doesnt with the pack (not its author)

Forge = Minecraft Forge, This is a modloader often just called "Forge".
Fabric = Fabric MC, this is another modloader, just called "Fabric".
CurseForge = A Website/App that has content for games.
Mods = Individual mod files.
Modpacks = Multiple mods put into the mods folder or downloaded from CurseForge.

These are not Interchangeable! Please use the correct terms as it allows us to help you faster!

What you may have to do is take all the mods out, and add them back in a few at a time, testing in between till it crashes.

I fell asleep while on my world and had a tick rate mod running to smelt some stuff and when I woke up it was frozen and so I closed out but haven’t been able to reopen it. It just goes back to the main menu after a while and then when I retry it says shutting down internal servers or something. I can take photos if needed, there are no crash reports

Why, the fuck does curseforge just DELETE a modpack when you hit cancel after you start updating the modpack to the latest version? I've just lost 2 weeks of progress on Enigmatica 2 - Expert. It didn't even give me a popup like "are you sure?" i just hit cancel and boom, gone.
