It does not do anything other than that

You copy you mods and config over to the server or use a preconfigured folder if the pack maker provides it

java can't find the .jar file with that extraneous forge name in there. I remove it and it launches.

ex: java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar forge-1.16.5-36.1.0.jar nogui

Whenever I try to startup a modded minecraft game, The minecraft launcher crashes. I can't get passed prepare, the bar can't get half way there before it crashes. The weird part is that it closes itself, there is no error message that pops up, There is no crash report, Even in the resource monitor theres nothing there. This is to every mod I have installed, some mods I have optifine on and some I dont. I've unistalled and Reinstalled both, the Minecraft and the Curseforge launchers. I have allocated The max amount of memory. I played the mods yesterday also, THE ENTIRE DAY. I am a little pissed off cause I was going to stream Minecraft today. Is there anything I can do.

I tried setting it in Nvidia control panel to that javaw.exe runs on gpu 0 and with normal launcher it works but when i use curseforge modpacks it still uses integrated gpu

There are two ways to share a modpack you've made with others...

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.

4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

grab the files from your client that are needed for the pack, put them in a folder.
make a forge server.
copy the files from the folder you made into the forge server.
run it.
If it works, then the folder is your server files. If it does not work then fix it.

If you have issues with CurseForge getting timeouts when you try to download Modpacks or Mods,

What it will do, is increase the download timeout to 20 minutes.

You need to run the increase_timeout.reg, and when it is done, you'll need to restart CurseForge,
you can do this by right clicking the tray icon and select "Relaunch".

Hey i own a server and ive been trying to play pixelmon and the sever hosting service i use will only let me use Pixelmon reforged 8.2, while the mod in curseforge latest version is 8.1.2 i did see it said that hte mods are still in the process of okaying the mod version. is there anyway to see how long it would take or do i just wait?

2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
