@knotty coyote some mods dont work well on server versions of forge u can try back date version of forge till one works for those mods on a server
i had to go back 2 versions on 1.12.2 for it to run

It's very different when it comes to singleplayer, as I said this is for the server side. It's like, your singleplayer uses addition while the server side uses multiplication.

i just pointed it out since i had same issue not long ago and some client mods dont mind being installed when server is up but some cause major issues

When making a server pack its good to take note when downloading mods to keep a list of what mods are client side only, both or server side only.

@knotty coyote btw the mods in ur modpack that u deleted for ur server. You wont need to delete them unless u dont want to use them in ur pack. They only needed to be deleted for the server since can cause stable issues and only work for the client. Just means the client can change the settings for that mod and it'll still work on the server but only for them. 🙂

I had it installed, but as of, seemingly, today, it no longer runs due to anything less than macOS 10.15 no longer being supported
last mac update was a week ago, but less than 10.15 hasnt been supported at any point
I was able to launch and run a modpack yesterday evening, but as of today it wouldn't launch and gave me an error saying that anything below macOS 10.15 wasn't supported

Does anyone know how to build custom mod profiles on Curse? I want to play a variant of Stoneblock 2, with the 260 mods it has, but on a Skyfactory 4 build, so you get the best of both worlds, but without starting underground and you get to have the massive quest list

can someone pls help ive tried deleting curseforge and reinstalling it. almost every time i try to do something it says "that wasnt supposed to happen" i click retry and then it gives me same screen i click retry again and it loads but it says i have no modpacks until i go into browse modpacks then go back and then it stops the process.

If you get a timeout error - then it is a slow network connection issue (move to lan or mobile hotspot).

How long does it take for the website to sync with the app?
usually around ~10-20 minutes. but there are peaks that it can take up to 2-3 hours.

I can't create a world on plunger modpack
I have my own Valhelsia 3 server (apex hosting), but i can't log into it. it says " An existing connection was forcibly removed" or sometimes it says the version is too old. any ideas of whats the problem? also each time i try to join my server all other players get kicked from the server.
did the mod list for allowed 3rd party list suddenly changed? Suddenly a Mod i had in the list on prior versions of the same pack ,was the reason it got rejected for approval, but i dont see any change at all on the terms??

I downloaded curseforge and went to get a mod pack and i changed the location, but i wanted to change it back cause the mods werent working. I thought if i unistalled the apps it would reset the location cause i cant find the original location, but it doesnt download the same, it keeps giving me a bubble and there arent any icons on my desktop and the location is STILL THE SAME. Is there any way I can fix this or can I just not use forge anymore cause I broke it? I'm sory if this is too much.

How do i load Mods with Fabric in Curseforge??

Fabric modpacks or the use Fabric mods require you to install a mod called Jumploader.
Fabric mods do not work with Forge.
Forge mods do not work with Fabric.
Fabric mods should be marked with a Fabric Icon like this:

Another thing you can do is move all none essentials to the D drive(documents, pictures, etc) But moving the curseforge folder to the D drive then resetting the path should work. Otherwise just copy the instance folder and have curse reinstall the rest to the new location

The only way those files will be on the new pc, will be if you transfer the folder that is holding all that data to the new pc and set the app to use that folder. Otherwise the data will not be on the new pc

Are you on your old pc now?
Click the
in the lower left corner, click the minecraft tab on the left > the file path under "minecraft Modding Folder" is where everything is saved. Including the list you are talking about. Before you move to the new pc copy that folder.
On the new pc:
Save the folder in the same location the old one was and set the path for the app to that folder. Everything will then be there
No file transfer == no list on new pc.
Think of it this way, the app is like a book, it will only have what you put into it. If you buy a new book the old notes wont be there unless you transfer them the the new one. App works the same way, files are saved on the pc the app is on. New pc== file transfer needed

Hey so I'm having a semi common problem with people downloading my modpack. All the mods are showing up in the mods folder, but whenever they launch the pack the only mod that's installed is forge. This isn't happening to everyone though only a select few. Any ideas?

Here's the first time someone encountered the problem this was about 20 days ago on an older version of the pack, but same issue. Looking through the logs looks like it's loading normal minecraft with just forge installed. No mods are mentioned at all just regular minecraft assets.

also have them pc restart, and make sure they arnt opening the normal launcher before using cursefroge

Hey, does anyone know how to make it so that when I restart a modpack, it keeps my commands? I want it to always launch packs in 1280x720
That person ended up leaving my discord right after that btw which is why I kinda want to get this sorted.
Just don't want to drive people away just because of a simple seeming issue like this
Its possible it was an issue on their end, I loaded it up just fine
