Hello everyone, i'am in trouble with curseforge app on mac.
I wanted to play on my modded server like usually and launched curseforge to open my mc client.
When i pressed te play button to start the game, a message (image) appears and don't let me launch the game.
I tried to figure out myself and uninstall and reinstall the modpack. but when i try to download it the same message appears again and stop the unzip at 33%.
So i can't play anymore now, until i change to another mod launcher.

Does anyone have maybe a solution ??

Those were add-ons, they're like mini-mods for bedrock, and you can get packs of them, but its not the same as java modded in the sense they dont add anything new, just replace existing things

I am creating a modpack through curse forge after completing the pack I launched but it crashed. I started disabling every mod to see which one is causing the crash. Eventually every mod was disabled. So I created a new profile to see if it's the mod's problems. There was nothing installed and the game still crashed with the unexpected error occurred message.

the filename is not the project name. the file name is meant to have versions, so that people can see changes

every pack you see on curseforge has versions in the filenames to keep things organized

So when you export your pack, it creates a manifest file with the curseforge mods in it. It doesn't actually put the jars in the folder.

2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.

it seems the mod in question is only updated on the site to 1.16.4, even though it works on 1.16.5 as well, which is the version ive been trying to play my modpack on. is there any way around this for the client or do i have to downgrade the entire pack to 1.16.4 for it to work

Is anyone else having an issue where the curseforge app is not showing downloads available for world of warcraft mods? I loaded the game and it said I had out of date mods. I got a message in game saying DMB was out of date. But when I go to the curseforge app, it doesn't show an update available. I checked the curseforge website and it says the mods were updated a few hours ago...so at this point I am having to download the updates manually from the website.

so, i made a modpack and exported it with the zip and all that, but i got no "mods" folder; do i manually have to put the mods in the server i plan to play on via FTP? do i just drag the .zip I exported to the root?

So the way export works is all curseforge related mods get put into the manifest file. So when a user imports the zip the app reads the manifest and downloads the mods. Makes the zips smaller
