How to add/remove mods in a modpack.

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.
2. Click the Add More Content button, IF this button is not there, see below before continuing.
3. Find the Mods, Resource Packs or Maps you wish to Install and click Install on them.
4. Wait for all the required mods to be downloaded.
5. Start the modpack.

How to Enable/Disable content management for modpacks.

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.
2. Click on the button next to the Play button.
3. Click on Profile Options.
4. Check the Allow content management for this profile option if you want to edit the content of the modpack, uncheck it to disable.

NOTE: The Allow content management for this profile option is what allows you to Delete, Disable, Update or Install any Mods, Resource Packs or Maps managed by CurseForge. It must be on to modify any of them! (Currently)

Hello, I could use a small amount of help. I have been trying to update some mods for minecraft that i had before the transition from twitch. All of the ones with updates never update they just stay on deleting current profile when trying to update. I have tried exiting and trying again with multiple packs. 2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

I'm having issues with the Curseforge app not showing all of the versions of Minecraft mods. It's hit or miss. Sometimes it will show all and most other times it shows only a couple and not the most up to date ones either. Is there a fix or work around for this Besides installing it from the website?

5. Click the Import option.

4. Select the files that should be included.

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

Does anyone know a way to make my pack install a certain way? The pack is called "Sintropica Rocks!", but the folder is "SintropicaRocks" because certain mods (OptiForge) don't like the space/exclamation. After I make my pack with the files the way I want, Curseforge installs it as the pack name. I want it to install as "SintropicaRocks", or find a way to get OptiForge to not crash it named the other way. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm having issues trying to play the ForgeLabs zombie apocalypse modpack. When it loads up I noticed how the custom zombie models do not appear and instead the vanilla zombies just spawn. Also everytime I try to open my creative inventory the whole game crashes. My pc has had no issues running mods like RLCraft so that couldn't be the issue. Anyone who can help me out?

Yes, at some point you will be able to create a Fabric profile. For now you can just add the mod Jumploader to be able to play with Fabric mods.

How to Enable/Disable content management for modpacks.

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.

4. Check the Allow content management for this profile option if you want to edit the content of the modpack, uncheck it to disable.

NOTE: The Allow content management for this profile option is what allows you to Delete, Disable, Update or Install any Mods, Resource Packs or Maps managed by CurseForge. It must be on to modify any of them! (Currently)

Well, all it did was just let me attempt to sign into an account again, which, as I have stated, I do not have access to. Forgive me for the impatience but I don't think a facepalm emoji and the software equivalent of "just turn it off and on again" are really helping me.

Before you try to fix anything, make sure that minecraft is closed!
If minecraft is open then you will need to close it and try to launch again.

5. Select Open in new window.
6. Double click the minecraft.exe.

How do you share a curseforge custom modpack with your friends?

There are two ways to share a modpack you've made with others...

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

How to install modpacks with the search features in app.

1. Open the Minecraft section of the app.
2. Click the top search bar where it says Search for modpacks OR Click the Browse Modpacks Tab.
3. Find the Modpack you want to install and click install on it.
4. Wait for CurseForge app to download and unpack all the required files.
5. Once finished, click Play!

How to install modpacks from a Export. (Custom/Private/Site downloaded Modpack zip)

1. Get CurseForge App if you don't have it, use !download for a link.
2. Get the exported modpack from CurseForge or someone else, !mc-packshare explains how to make them.
3. Open the Minecraft section of the app.
4. Click Create Custom Profile
5. Click the Import option.
6. Find the file you just downloaded in step 2 and select it.
7. CurseForge app will now attempt to download and unpack the modpack. If it fails, try steps 4-6 again.
8. Once finished, click Play!

Is there a possibility to create a "refresh button" available in the app, so that you can ask manual update queries. So that before you start your "pack" (Minecraft) you can see whether you want to update "mods" before or not. After all i saw, that in the Curseforge-settings you can choose like an
Update-Profile. So its like Release or Beta.

How to install mods in CurseForge App.

1. Click + Create Custom Profile
2. Name it, select the required Minecraft version, select the Forge version (usually the highest number), click Create.
3. Click the profile icon.
4. Click Add New Content
5. Search and install the desired mods.
6. Start the game!

How to install mods not on CurseForge.

1. Right click the profile picture or Open the profile and click the Icon next to the play button.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Drag the mod(s) into the mods folder. (Note: Some mods will require others, to run. Make sure to read the instructions for the mod!)
4. Start the game!

The Problem about "startup-time" is, that every time i start the app,
it will run like a Checkup. And since i have many Projects i manage
it will take a while, so that's why i said it would be good a manual
"Refresh-Button" so i can do it by my self and don't run every time

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
2. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
3. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
4. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
5. Run the server again.

So I've looked at CurseForge after a three year break to find out that it's changed hands. My old account no longer exists and account migration is broken. The support page says I should be able to log in with my old details and have it automatically migrated but there is no way to do that. Just the twitch log in.

Then my old add-on is no where on the site

I was hoping to resurrect it for TBC rerelease

The support site says that account migration is automatic and that all i need to do is log in with my old account details. This is not possible. The only log in option takes me to Twitch which doesn't accept my old Curse log in details
