Microsoft login issues with the CurseForge App

If you own a Minecraft account, but trying to log in using the CurseForge app is not working, try these things:
If at any step it suddenly works, you do not need to continue with the rest.

1. Check your internet connection and try again. You can try opening some tabs in your browser or other tests to make sure you are online.
2. Restart the CurseForge App and try again.
3. Verify that the account login information is actually correct, no wrong email, typo, etc, then try again. If you don't remember your credentials, contact Microsoft Support. CurseForge has nothing to do with it.

🔹 If none of these methods worked, do this:

1. Click the in the bottom left corner of the App.
2. Select Minecraft.
3. Change the launch option from CurseForge App to Mojang Launcher.

Hi, I just got a virus from the Curseforge website. I sent a support ticket, but the ai support bot told me they can't help. I got a fake Captcha thing, I clicked on it like an idiot, and now I won't stop getting fake spam popup notifications in my Firefox browser telling me I have a virus/zeus.2020 trojan/whatever. Windows defender can't find the virus, and neither can Malwarebytes. Admittedly those are the only antivirus softwares I use. This basically never happens to me so I don't really shell out for a proper antivirus, which is probably dumb but this is the situation I'm in now. Is there anyone on here who can give me any advice on how to deal with this? Thank you so so much.

If Minecraft will not start then use the tool linked at the bottom!

1. Start the modpack you wish to fix. If it will not start, then click the in the top right of the app then select Run Vanilla Minecraft. In the launcher that opens, go to the Installations tab and choose New Installation. Choose a name and select the Minecraft version of the modpack you are trying to run (like 1.19.4 or 1.7.10). Once created play it by clicking the green Play button that appears when hovering over it in the list of installations.
2. Open Task Manager while Minecraft is running (Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager)
3. Find minecraft in that list. It will be called something like "Java" or "OpenJDK Binary". (tip: sort by ram usage by clicking on the "Memory" tab. Minecraft uses a lot of ram so will be at the top)
4. Right click it and Open File Location
5. Copy the file path from Windows Explorer by clicking into the address bar and pressing Ctrl + C
6. Press and type in GPU, then press Enter to open Graphics Settings
7. Under Graphics performance preference select Desktop App
8. Click Browse
9. Click the address bar and paste in the folder location you copied by pressing Ctrl + V, then press Enter
10. Select the javaw or javaw.exe file from the files in front of you (tip: press J to immediately jump to the files that start with that letter)
11. Once selected, click Add in the bottom right of the window
12. Click the Options button on the newly added option
13. Set it to High performance on the best GPU you have

5. Start the modpack.

How to Enable/Disable content management for modpacks:

4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Share Profile
6. Click Export.
7. Select the files that should be included.
8. Open your Project that you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.

im not sure why but curseforge keeps breaking. a few weeks ago i had a bug where i couldnt update any mods, install new mods, or make new profiles. i got help, reinstalled curseforge and overwolf and it fixed it but then the same thing started happening again, reinstalled everything again which fixed it again. it happened again but differently where if i left the profile then went back in it would show the mod installed or updated. for some reason some days it would completely fix itself then break a few days later. now it wont even let me launch a minecraft game. is there any way i can stop this from happening permanently or should i just continue to uninstall and reinstall curseforge?

Microsoft login issues with the CurseForge App

If you own a Minecraft account, but trying to log in using the CurseForge app is not working, try these things:
If at any step it suddenly works, you do not need to continue with the rest.

1. Check your internet connection and try again. You can try opening some tabs in your browser or other tests to make sure you are online.
2. Restart the CurseForge App and try again.
3. Verify that the account login information is actually correct, no wrong email, typo, etc, then try again. If you don't remember your credentials, contact Microsoft Support. CurseForge has nothing to do with it.

🔹 If none of these methods worked, do this:

1. Click the in the bottom left corner of the App.
2. Select Minecraft.
3. Change the launch option from CurseForge App to Mojang Launcher.

This will change how the game launches and instead of requiring you to log in via the App it will open a copy of the Mojang Launcher.

Plus the Mojang launcher crashing is much, much rarer

Microsoft login issues with the CurseForge App

If you own a Minecraft account, but trying to log in using the CurseForge app is not working, try these things:
If at any step it suddenly works, you do not need to continue with the rest.

1. Check your internet connection and try again. You can try opening some tabs in your browser or other tests to make sure you are online.
2. Restart the CurseForge App and try again.
3. Verify that the account login information is actually correct, no wrong email, typo, etc, then try again. If you don't remember your credentials, contact Microsoft Support. CurseForge has nothing to do with it.

🔹 If none of these methods worked, do this:

1. Click the in the bottom left corner of the App.
2. Select Minecraft.
3. Change the launch option from CurseForge App to Mojang Launcher.

This will change how the game launches and instead of requiring you to log in via the App it will open a copy of the Mojang Launcher.

You still hasn't updated your microcode? Intel made a flaw inside their hardware that resulted in the CPU melting, in the literal sense. This melting is slowing damaging the CPU physically and can cause issues with your computer, and might result in you having to pay a new CPU or a entirely new computer. Intel released a "fix" to prevent the CPU from going into a state where that can damage the CPU, however you did not installed this fix.
