Hello, Idk if this would CF bug report or a MC report but when I try launching an instance using the new "Curse Forge Launcher for Quick Play," it looks like the system tries to load the -Xms as 250 and across 4 to 5 different mudpacks that I tried, it would cause a memory failure crash. It does look like switching back to the Mojang launcher does fix this issue but I wanted to bring it to you guys attention

How to set Minecraft to use the correct GPU in Windows

1. Find your modding folder location - In the Curseforge app press the options button at the top , then press the modding folder .
2. Saving folder location - In the now opened folder window > double mouse click to enter the 'Install' folder, and then the 'runtime' folder. At the top of the window, left mouse click the top location bar in the empty space to the right of any text. Press CTRL+C together to save this location.
3. Open the graphics settings window - Use Windows search (hotkey ) entering the text 'GPU' - and click on 'Graphics Settings'.
4. Add Java executables - Click the 'Browse' button below the text 'Add an app'. In the folder window left mouse click the top location bar in the empty space to the right of any text. Press CTRL+V together to paste the folder location and then press enter. -- Each folder showing is a different java installation - double mouse click one of them > then the only folder showing in each new location > then the folder named 'bin'. Once inside 'bin' folder > left mouse click the file named exactly - javaw.exe - then click 'add' in the window.

Repeat step 4 for every java installation showing in the 'runtime' folder.

5. Check options - For each of the newly added javaw.exe items - click on the item from the list and then the Options button. Check that either the only options are your graphics card, or that it's selected as the option to be used.

Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but is cf team aware of the stealer that's being spread right now using cf as a kinda like 'safety anchor'? people are being told to download a specific profile off curse and (I think) sent an additional rar file, which I presume is the moneymaker. A couple of my friends got smoked by it and I'm trying to figure out if they need to nuke their pcs or if we can just find and delete specific things.

Microsoft login issues with the CurseForge App

If you own a Minecraft account, but trying to log in using the CurseForge app is not working, try these things:
If at any step it suddenly works, you do not need to continue with the rest.

1. Check your internet connection and try again. You can try opening some tabs in your browser or other tests to make sure you are online.
2. Restart the CurseForge App and try again.
3. Verify that the account login information is actually correct, no wrong email, typo, etc, then try again. If you don't remember your credentials, contact Microsoft Support. CurseForge has nothing to do with it.

🔹 If none of these methods worked, do this:

1. Click the in the bottom left corner of the App.
2. Select Minecraft.
3. Change the launch option from CurseForge App to Mojang Launcher.

This will change how the game launches and instead of requiring you to log in via the App it will open a copy of the Mojang Launcher.

i've started to have a bug on the curseforge app where i can disable mods in the app, but it will not actually disable the mod files. the example i'm using in the attached screenshot is biomes o' plenty, but it has also happened with betterend neoforge edition, bclib neoforge edition, particle rain, scalablelux, and async particles. this happens across every curseforge profile i use on minecraft java edition

it seems like it's the enable/disable mods buttons on the app are bugged as a whole(at least on my end for mc), as im unable to enable mods that have been previously disabled as well

Hello! I few days ago a problem started occurring while I am trying to star any modpacks. The loading screen freezes for half an hour and after that it is loading normally. I am playing NeoForge modpacks and I thought that this might be a problem from the modpacks because they have a lot of mods but then I created a profile with only 1 mode loaded and it was the same. I have 8 RAM allocated to every modpack and my PC is more than dissent and it was starting modpack without problem until a few days ago. I didnt do anything nor updating anything the modpacks just started to load very slow. When they start there are no problems.

Try this, delete the texture pack > open the modpacks folder > verify the file is gone > restart your pc > then try reinstalling.

test the pack to make sure the resource pack is there > then export again. BEFORE you upload, check the overrides/resourcepacks folder to verify if the file is there or not

How to upload a server pack

1. Make the server pack by zipping up the required files by selecting the required folders & files. Hello, I have a problem with my CurseForge account on my old laptop.

I was already logged into my account in the CurseForge, but after I installed an update, I was automatically logged out and now I cannot access my account anymore.

The problem is that I do not remember which login method I used to sign in originally. I tried all available options:

Google login → it does not work (it just returns me to the login screen)
Discord login → it asks me to connect Discord instead of logging in
GitHub login → I do not have an account there
Twitch login → I am not sure if I used it, and I cannot confirm access

You need to figure out what mods are client-side or not by testing the modpack or looking every mods one by one, or use Universalator to quicken the process a little

my curse forge was just updated recently and has completely removed my all the mods 10 profile but kept other modpacks, please tell me i can get my world back somehow

i only relied on backups through the simplebackups mod but as it deleted the entire profile i don't have access to any of the backups anymore

Microsoft login issues with the CurseForge App

If you own a Minecraft account, but trying to log in using the CurseForge app is not working, try these things:
If at any step it suddenly works, you do not need to continue with the rest.

1. Check your internet connection and try again. You can try opening some tabs in your browser or other tests to make sure you are online.
2. Restart the CurseForge App and try again.
3. Verify that the account login information is actually correct, no wrong email, typo, etc, then try again. If you don't remember your credentials, contact Microsoft Support. CurseForge has nothing to do with it.

🔹 If none of these methods worked, do this:

1. Click the in the bottom left corner of the App.
2. Select Minecraft.
3. Change the launch option from CurseForge App to Mojang Launcher.

This will change how the game launches and instead of requiring you to log in via the App it will open a copy of the Mojang Launcher.
