I fixed it by clicking the Change Version arrow symbol on the bottom left of the modpack and clicking Select Version, choose the version you want and then click Update to a Separate Modpack Profile. Click Continue and once it installs it worked

My main road block is this:
I'm currently logged in with my main account on curseforge.
In upper right I click on the drop-down menu and select Add Account
Curseforge gives me a code and opens the Microsoft login page thingy asking me to grant access
But... that's where the road block happens. There is no option on their end to enter the alt account's email, and displays only the main's email.

So there's where I'm at and I'm not sure what to do 😛

At first I tried downloading the modpack from CurseForge and running it directly, but the launcher never opened. Thinking it might be an installation issue, I then tried using the BMC4_Server_Pack_v57.5, extracted the folder, and attempted to start with startserver.bat. However, I get the error “Could not start Java. %1 is not a valid 32-bit application” and the server closes immediately.

I already installed Java 17 (64-bit), checked Forge version (47.4.18), and followed the recommended steps, but it still doesn’t work. Does anyone know how to fix this issue or if I’m using the wrong file to play as a client?

the profiles which the app installs are for the game client that you play with. servers are different than that - they are headless versions of the game which people connect to. which are you actually trying to do?

I manually moved the files from one drive to another then picked in the new folder location in the Curseforge app, it asked if i wanted to move the files. I get the error "an unexpected error occurred. Operation failed" when i try to install a modpack.
I reinstalled Curseforge, used the repair funktion, tried installing other modpacks
and downloading from the webside and then importing it.
Everything failed after it got to the stage Downloading.
Sometimes i also get the error "Something went wrong" when i try to Browse for modpacks.
Internet connection seams to be stable as i can use other services without a Problem.

CurseForge isnt associated with ModMate. You are best off already having the addons and whatnot that you like, downloaded on one device, and use that device to transfer the already downloaded addons or whatever to another.

I don't know if you are sending from a phone to a console, or vice versa.

I did go and check, the dev has supposedly pushed a fix for downloading off CurseForge as of March 24th. However for future, I recommend joining the discord for ModMate directly, as you'd get more direct support there.

I don't have much guess honestly. The Hosts file look mostly clean but it's still possible the addresses inside are somehow messing around and making the IP not reachable.

Removing them should not hurt, the file is usually not modiable (Windows prevent you to) but you can do it with this powershell command:

The alternative would to try a VPN, or reinstall Windows - I don't have much ideas beyond it

Installing Bedrock Addons on PC

This is for the Computer version of Bedrock Edition Only

For the following steps, make sure the game is on the main menu screen first

:large_orange_diamond: Installing Addons
Addons come in 2 options: Behavior Packs (BP) and Resource Packs (RP)
To install these all you need to do is:
1: download the wanted addon
2: Open your downloads folder
3: Double click on the addon
This will start the "import"

Once installed you need to enable the addons. They do not auto enable
1: Press play in the Main Menu > Create World > Create New World
2: Scroll down to the Experiments tab
3: Enable the all the Add-On Creator settings: Holiday Creator Features, Custom Biomes, Upcoming Creator Features, Beta APIs
4: You can then enable the RP or BP packs in their respective tabs in the world creation screen

Note: You can add RPs and BPs to old worlds, however this can cause issues depending on the pack, be sure to backup your worlds first
