  1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
  2. Click the zCFmenu button next to play.
  3. Click zCFlink Share Profile
  4. You have 2 options:
    a. Profile Code !mc-sharecode
    b. Export Zip !mc-sharezip
  5. Send the zip/code to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-importpack to install the pack.

:small_blue_diamond: Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone

This option will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

  1. Go to create a new project
  2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
  3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
  4. Click the zCFmenu button next to play.
  5. Click zCFlink Share Profile
  6. Click zCFexportExport.
  7. Select the files that should be included.
  8. Open your Project that you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
  9. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations and !status to learn about the moderation process and how long it will take to approve/decline)

Guys I've been having that issue on CF where it says Java Runtime Environment is missing or out of date

I've tried to manually set the direction and repair the installation but repairing doesn't work and I get errors or can't find the versions for 17 and 21 even after immediately installing them

Something I've noticed is that the Installation for Java 8 worked and the only difference between that one and Java 17 and 21 is that the installation started with JRE for 8 and JDK for the other 2

When I completely turn off the VPN it works fine, curseforge loads fast, but when I try to use a VPN at the same time (split tunneling curseforge) it doesn't work at all. How to set Minecraft to use the correct GPU in Windows

If Minecraft will not start then use the tool linked at the bottom!

  1. Start the modpack you wish to fix. If it will not start, then click the zCFmenu in the top right of the app then select zCFplay Run Vanilla Minecraft. In the launcher that opens, go to the Installations tab and choose New Installation. Choose a name and select the Minecraft version of the modpack you are trying to run (like 1.19.4 or 1.7.10). Once created play it by clicking the green Play button that appears when hovering over it in the list of installations.
  2. Open Task Manager while Minecraft is running (Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager)
  3. Find minecraft in that list. It will be called something like "Java" or "OpenJDK Binary". (tip: sort by ram usage by clicking on the "Memory" tab. Minecraft uses a lot of ram so will be at the top)
  4. Right click it and Open File Location
  5. Copy the file path from Windows Explorer by clicking into the address bar and pressing Ctrl + C
  6. Press zCFwindows and type in GPU, then press Enter to open Graphics Settings
  7. Under Graphics performance preference select Desktop App
  8. Click Browse
  9. Click the address bar and paste in the folder location you copied by pressing Ctrl + V, then press Enter
  10. Select the javaw or javaw.exe file from the files in front of you (tip: press J to immediately jump to the files that start with that letter)
  11. Once selected, click Add in the bottom right of the window
  12. Click the Options button on the newly added option
  13. Set it to High performance on the best GPU you have

open curseforge, go to the minecraft profiles, and on the left side of the screen, click the settings button.
Under "Game Specific" hit Minecraft.
Scroll down and you'll see a slider. Set to... mh, maybe 15000MB, and try that.

but i fear that issue isnt necessarily only a cf thing, that could happen as a result of several things (antivirus is usually top contender). there isnt any guarantee we can pinpoint what did happen (we are just volunteers familiar with CF/minecraft). I am not sure if we will be able to help you recover anything or find out if CF did a backup for you

Hai there I am currently playing on a Modpack with a friend we are doing All the Mons and are currently in V0.12.0-beta and up until Today I have been able to access the main menu and everything fine, no problems. Today however it goes through the Loading of the mod pack, shows the Splash Loading Screen with the Pika Stars then I hear the Music and The ding to tell me it's loaded. However when I change from Minimize to Fullscreen as I normally do the screen then turns Black, I can interact with the buttons and have even managed to navigate to the multiplayer menu and try to connect to the server. however it remains a black screen and I cannot see nor interact with anything after that.

Whenever I upload a MODPACK to CloudForge, an error always occurs, and no reason is displayed (it only says that an error occurred while processing the file).
However, after trying multiple times, all the files that were supposed to have failed upload are uploaded about 10 hours later (even though CloudForge normally doesnā€™t allow uploading the same file multiple times, when this bug occurs, not only can the same file be uploaded multiple times, but it also appears to users as if there are multiple copies of the same file available for download).
This issue seems to occur less frequently in the Legacy version.

hello, i've tried creating a mod pack for myself and i've had issues, the game loads just fine but crashes when I click on the singleplayer button.
The crash log told me it was an issue between sodium and embeddium, after trying other versions and ultimately removing them the crash still occurs but I see no apparent reasons for it from just the crash log and my limited knowledge.

Hey,

When I open the CurseForge app, everything flickers very badly, regardless of whether it's in windowed or full-screen mode.

All drivers are up to date. Resizing the window several times or switching between windowed and full-screen mode stops the flickering for a few seconds, but then it starts again.

I've had this problem for almost a year now and can't seem to fix it.

My desktop resolution is set to 125% because I need larger displays, and reducing it back to 100% isn't an option for me.

It's a shooter, and the explicit version would include blood effects, decorations, and zombie sound effectsā€”all in the Minecraft style, of course. What should I name my modpack so it runs under the same name? Is it enough if I rename my existing modpack, for example, to Block Ops - All Out Warfare [Censored]

and then name the other modpack Block Ops - All Out Warfare [Explicit], or will that not work?

Hello. My problem is that i can not install or update any mods. i always get the error message "An unexpected error occured. Operation failed.". Can someone please help me? Sticking at 'Dispatching Construct' without a crash usually means a Deadlock or an Infinite Loop during the mod initialization phase. Since the game isn't crashing, one of your mods is likely waiting for a response or a registry entry that never triggers.

Check your latest.log and look for the last mod ID mentioned before the logs stopped. That mod is likely the culprit. Also, this often happens if you have conflicting Mixins or if a mod is trying to access a 'Null' object during its setup. Try removing your most recent 2-3 added mods and see if it clears the block.

Delete the map folders go to your config folder and delete the xaerominimap and xaeroworldmap folders.
Download the same version: Make sure both the Minimap and World Map are made for exactly the same Minecraft version (like 1.21).
If it still gets stuck, just don t use Xaeros for now. Your computer is having a hard time loading them with your other mods if im correct u already tried to remove it and it was works fine?

So I think I somehow got black listed in system in curseforge. I have never meant to break any rules I used and created an api key for this application which I now believe to be malicous in some way.

How to install modpacks with the search features in the CurseForge app

How to install modpacks with the search features

  1. Open the grassMinecraft section of the app.
  2. Click the top search bar where it says Search for modpacks OR Click the Browse Modpacks Tab.
  3. Find the Modpack you want to install and click install on it.
  4. Wait for the CurseForge app to download and unpack all the required files.
  5. Once finished, click Play!

How to install modpacks from an Export (Custom/Private/Site downloaded Modpack zip)

  1. Get the CurseForge app if you don't have it, use !getcf for a link.
  2. Get the exported modpack from CurseForge or someone else, !mc-packshare explains how to make them.
  3. Open the grassMinecraft section of the app.
  4. Click the zCFinstall_update Import option.
  5. Find the file you just downloaded in step 2 and select it.
  6. CurseForge app will now attempt to download and unpack the modpack. If it fails, try steps 4-6 again.
  7. Once finished, click Play!

yo soi got the modpack better mc (cursforge) bmc4 and i play it, but when i open it the ram usage instantly jumps to 90%+ and in the range of about half an hour climbs up until it eventually reaches 99% and the game crushes. i've tried many things t decrease ram usage but none helped, and im starting to believe its a problem with the java launcher or the modpack or cursforge. how do i fix this?

I put a ticket through on the curseforge pc app, but I thought I would come here with my issue as well.
I am logged in on minecraft through curseforge, but when i try to launch a modpack it can't verify and says my login session has expired.
when i attempt to log back in through microsoft it will say I can safely close it, but no matter what it won't let me log in.

very very severe problem

i was just recently i was playing modded minecraft and everything was fine. when i booted up my pc again and checked my curseforge account there was nothing. i was signed in with a user that was last active jan 1, 2000 and was made a year ago called user_h4tnyahz45uexgd9. ive spent a zillion hours on my worlds and i dont wanna lose all of it because of some account bug, nor do i also wanna lose my account. ive tried signing in again with the email i used for the account i was previously in and it wouldnt work. when i tried signing in the website i would get an error.
literally do not know what could have happened

Okay, here's my guess.

The account you are looking at it likely some sort of email account that was made in 2000. When you log into curseforge, you log in through one of your media accounts (Google, Discord, Twitch, etc)

In the Curseforge app, on the bottom side of the window near the bottom, there shold be an icon of a person. You can log out from there. It likely just assigned a random username to whatever media account you may have accidentally signed in with that isn't your usual. If it won't let you log out, you can try running Curseforge as an admin.

It looks like it logged you in using your discord, as the icon is the same as your discord.

ive been trying to play a modpack but for some reason running the modpack through curseforge isnt working it opens the minecraft luncher but when i press play nothing happens - minecraft luncher goes to the background and openjdk runs in the background but the game itself doesnt open
running vanilla minecraft works just fine
can anyone help?
