Hey I'm encountering an issue with Curseforge starting
recently I tried to uninstall Overwolf but it wanted me to delete Curseforge as well so I created a backup of my instances and downloaded the standalone version so i re-routed it to the instances i had backed up and it worked fine but when I closed it there was no way to reopen curseforge, the only way I could was if I installed a whole new version with the installer which than again after I close it, I would have no way of me re-opening it

I heavily recommend not to do it as this could corrupt the entire .minecraft folder. Just copy pasting your world is a safer solution

Installing Bedrock Addons on PC

This is for the Computer version of Bedrock Edition Only

For the following steps, make sure the game is on the main menu screen first

Addons come in 2 options: Behavior Packs (BP) and Resource Packs (RP)
To install these all you need to do is:
1: download the wanted addon
2: Open your downloads folder
3: Double click on the addon
This will start the "import"

Once installed you need to enable the addons. They do not auto enable
1: Press play in the Main Menu > Create World > Create New World
2: Scroll down to the Experiments tab

4: You can then enable the RP or BP packs in their respective tabs in the world creation screen

Note: You can add RPs and BPs to old worlds, however this can cause issues depending on the pack, be sure to backup your worlds first

bedrock is not directly supported via the Curseforge app. the website has mods which you can download and install to your regular game location

Installing Bedrock Addons on PC

This is for the Computer version of Bedrock Edition Only

For the following steps, make sure the game is on the main menu screen first

:large_orange_diamond: Installing Addons
Addons come in 2 options: Behavior Packs (BP) and Resource Packs (RP)
To install these all you need to do is:
1: download the wanted addon
2: Open your downloads folder
3: Double click on the addon
This will start the "import"

:blue_square: Enabling the Addons
Once installed you need to enable the addons. They do not auto enable
1: Press play in the Main Menu > Create World > Create New World
2: Scroll down to the Experiments tab
3: Enable the all the Add-On Creator settings: Holiday Creator Features, Custom Biomes, Upcoming Creator Features, Beta APIs
4: You can then enable the RP or BP packs in their respective tabs in the world creation screen

Note: You can add RPs and BPs to old worlds, however this can cause issues depending on the pack, be sure to backup your worlds first

I have an issue with the Curseforge app, where a modpack I downloaded for Minecraft Java and then deleted is kinda... still there? It's like a ghost, but I can still interact with it. I've tried repairing it, I've tried deleting it, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but nothing works. Does anyone have any tips on fixing this little issue?

Hi I'm using courseforge for the sims 4 and suddednly it doesn't recognize my mods ( all removed, files are still at the same place) how to fix that ?

You can rescan your mods folder using the three dots in the menu

Curseforge loses tracking though and updating if you put them in sub folders

So i recently got a new computer and when i got curseforge and moved over all the modpacks from my old computer for some reason the groups i made on the old computer dont show up on my new computers CurseForge, like all i did was put the CurseForge folder on a hard drive and then put that folder on my new computer and got CurseForge to choose that folder but yeah the groups are there yet when i show all modpacks all the modpacks from them groups show up
