Good morning!
I have been having a problem lately with my curseforge. It works fine but more of the times then not, it lags my internet for a minute and this happens reguarly, most of the times when i want to either download or search for a mod but it can happen with starting a mod pack and it starts only after the fifth or whatever try. My internet also stops working on google and sometimes on discord but if im in a call that does not stop or lag. When i try to download a mod it says oh no error try again. This happened to me in the past few days often and i have got to a point where i need a solution.. Here are the things i have already tried and didnt work:
-Reinstalling Curseforge
-Restarting my computer
-Restrating the internet router
-Pulling out and connecting the ethernet cable
-Let curseforge through the firewall
-Empty temp files

i use curseforge without overwolf btw. Anyone can give me any help or advice? I would appreciate it..

so I was playing a modpack "all the mons" and it was in my C drive. after a week or so my C drive filled up so I decided today to try and move the modpack to my E drive(ssd). to do this i went to the settings no curseforge clicked Minecraft and then the change button on minecraft modding folder and selected my E drive. in doing that a pop-up came up asking if Id like to move current modpacks there aswell. like an idiot I clicked no and now I literally have no idea where my modpacks went. its like it got compleley cleared from my computer. can anyone help please

Downloading game..." and the download bar freezes at 10%, displaying the following error: "Failed to launch modpack. An unexpected error ocourred." I'm gonna try really hard to describe it bare with me.

I'm currently making a new modpack and I'm grabbing a bunch of stuff from my favorite modpack. I have to go through each mod, click the author, and find the mod through the author bio as it's the fastest way to find it other than searching it up.

The problem is that there are some authors (it does not have a pattern, it is random), when I click on the name, nothing loads. I'm stuck in a loading loop and eventually I'll get an error screen. It often repeats itself but for the specific author.

I hope that made sense enough to help.

Hi, I'm completely new and inexperienced, and this is my first time playing Minecraft with mods, or at least I'm planning to. However, I'm having a problem. I've done everything necessary and can install mods via CurseForge, and I've made sure I'm using the correct version. I can even start the game through CurseForge and generate a world without any issues, but once I'm logged in, neither the installed shaders nor the mods are active, and I don't know what to do. Can someone please help me?

What's the loader? As in, fabric, quilt, Neoforge, forge? And what version? I usually use 1.20.1. for forge, you usually have to install some needed mods to work shaders, but Iris is for fabric only, so I recommend Oculus which is a Forge port of Iris. Sodium is also recommended as well and some others as well (someone back me up lol). As for the mods not loading I'm not sure. I do not know what specific mods you are running and what they require. Some require specific libraries that you have to install into the Modpack.

And you need to make sure everything in the mod pack is up to date, is available for the Modpack version you're playing, and runs the forge/fabric/Neoforge/Quilt version you are playing too. Just my experience. Always update! And be careful about using Immersive Portals and ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR WORLDS BEFORE ADDING ANYTHING NEW

Okay so in your modpack library you'll see an options tab and in there you can open your modpack folder. Go to the datapacks folder and copy your datapacks with Ctrl + c, and back out of that folder and go to Saves folder, and you'll see your world as a folder. Select that folder and you can paste the datapack folders in the datapack folder or it's probably data.

Be sure the game is closed while you’re doing this!

It's probable. The Mojang launcher feature is just a copy of the official launcher, and the launcher type is what distribution of the launcher it's using - so technically you are launching your game with the official launcher, and CurseForge doesn't mess much with the configuration nor with the game except just setting up the mods and libraries.

Once installed you need to enable the addons. They do not auto enable
1: Press play in the Main Menu > Create World > Create New World
2: Scroll down to the Experiments tab
3: Enable the all the Add-On Creator settings: Holiday Creator Features, Custom Biomes, Upcoming Creator Features, Beta APIs
4: You can then enable the RP or BP packs in their respective tabs in the world creation screen

Note: You can add RPs and BPs to old worlds, however this can cause issues depending on the pack, be sure to backup your worlds first

greetings everyone, im not quiet sure if this chat is the right place to ask the following but im desperate for any help towards any progress at my current problem. its about downloading/installing any modpack in the curse forge launcher.. anytime i try to install whatever modpack, there are zero files being downloaded or visable in the content folder in the launcher itself. in the game files themselves there is also not a single mod of said modpack even downloaded. i tried importing atm10 for examlple from downloading a zip file from the atm site but it still refuses to work. the error codes which im getting are:
One or more errors occured. (cannot find central directory)(Central directory corrupt) when trying to install the modpack itself
An error occured while executing Forge install command. Exit code:1 when trying to import the zip from the atm site

something ive seen from old reddit posts is, to just press the three dots next to the account tab and press repair installation. but for some reason everytime i do so, i can see the next screen, where i assume i can choose which kind of repairing i want, it almost disappears instantly and says "minecraft installation repaired successfully, even tho nothing really happend. i hope some1 has an idea... ty in advance

Oh thanks ! Well I've been playing a modded mc. And recently for some reason without fail it keeps crashing and not opening. the problem with mojang launcher is that the keybinds get messed up between each session , like if i play SSV and the go to ATM10 the keybinds get messed up ,

rn i use prism launcher for offline playing my modpacks

but i hope soon curseforge team release a update and change this ❤️
